"Achoo!" Deeno rubs her nose, "This cold is making my nose so leaky." The sky was begining to grow brighter as the sun got closer to rising, but still, it was a bit of a ways away. She sat next to Skwertle as he was tied up, "I'm gonna need a tish...tish...tisHUUE!" She sneezed again, and simultaneously, the roots binding Skwertle released and withdrew back into the ground. The coincidence startled her, "Oh no, my sneeze messed something up! Oh, wait, that's what we wanted to have happen. OH, YES! Skwertle's free, which means, now they can all escape together! Hazaah!" Dartrix returns, after delivering Peekatchu to the tent. He comes in for landing and sees Skwertle now free as well. Deeno runs up to him ecstatically, "He's free now!" Dartrix sits down to catch his breath, "Oh boy...right as I arrive back, again. The timing is nice but can't I at least get a little break?" Deeno goes to get Skwertle and carries him over to Dartrix, who proceeds to put Skwertle on his back.

"So we can free them now, right Dartrix?" Dartrix responds, "Yes, but we must get them all together for it to work. Quickly now, we must bring Squirtle to the tent so I can preform the Awakening there!" Dartrix flies low so Deeno can follow him out the woods (And to reduce strain) Deeno runs ahead of him though, so excited to see her friends finally return!

Meanwhile within the dream forest, the three friends are all lying on the ground, as they were thrown through the portal. Skwertle opens his eyes and looks around, "Hey, we're..ON THE GROUND! YES! Haha!" He kisses the ground and does a little jig. "Aw man, rides over." Peekatchu pouts. Charmandah gets up, and sighs in relief. He looks around expecting an exit to appear, however, none has appeared yet. Peekatchu walks up to Charmandah and asks him, "Hey, uh, we rescued everybody now...Shouldn't there be some exit appearing?" "There should..." Charmandah responds, "Maybe it just takes a bit of time?"

(I guess that might be it...But I can't shake the feeling, that there is someone left...) Charmandah looks around, and he sees a small path showing out of the woods. It was a very tight fit, but the only place without fog. He wondered...

Deeno and Dartrix finally make it to the tent. "Ooh, this is a nice tent!" Deeno states. Dartrix doesn't respond though, as he is too busy panting. Deeno bounces around with joy, "Come on come on, hurry in!" She crawl into the tent and Dartrix walks in behind her. It is a pretty big tent, plenty of walking space insude, and theres even a heater in there. Dartrix sets Skwertle down and falls over, "Huff, puff, man, he needs to lose some weight, either that or it's the shell." He hardly gets any rest as Deeno goes up to him ans nudges him, "Come on, let's wake them up right now!" Dartrix sits up and shakes his wings, "All right. I suppose there is no reason to waste time."

Dartrix sits in front of them and opens his wings. Using his ghost type abilities, he begins connecting to them...

*Shwiiiiing!*

A portal inside the dream forest appears, glowing vibrantly. It seems to be giving off a warm feeling, "Look!" Peekatchu exclaims! The three hear Dartrix's voice echo, {Hello? Good work all three of you, tou have all conquered your nightmares, thus conquering the curse! I've created a portal for you three to enter, that will bring your spirits back into your own bodies! Just, make sure you only go one at a time, otherwise...yeah we don't want things getting messy.} "So, this'll bring us back to our own world?" Skwertle asks anomynously. Peekatchu feels the warm fuzziness from the portal, "I can't wait to go back home! There's NO place like home! And I'll get to test that painting theory!" Skwertle and Peekatchu both approach the portal, however, Charmandah is staring back at the path still. Skwertle climbs up into the portal and jumps in...

"Gah!" Skwertle's body jolts up, with Skwertle inside! He looks around, seeming very confused, and feels the feelings of his body, "Man, you really take life and your senses for granted until you realize how good they really are." Deeno hugs Skwertle, "Skwertle! It's so good to have you back!" Skwertle blushes, "Oh, Deeno...Wait, Deeno!? What's gping on, I thought you were sick?" Deeno giggles, "I am! Ah-ah-ACHOO!" She accidentilly sneezes in Skwertle's face, "Hehe, sorry..."

{All right, next one ready!}
"I guess that's me! Peekatchu approaches the portal, about to climb in. However, he turns around and sees Charmandah, staring off into the distance, "Charmandah...Aren't, you coming?" "Charmandah stares a bit longer, then turns around to tell Peekatchu, "Peekatchu...Some one else is still here..." Peekatchu is a bit shocked by what he said, as well as confused, "Someone else? But it was only us three." "No," Charmandah responds, "The Trevenant...he's trapped too."

"Gasp!" Peekatchu shivers a little, "T-T-That one?! B-but, what if he tries to kill you!?" "But, we can't leave him. It's not the right thing to do." Peekatchu thinks for a bit, then tells Chamandah, "Then let me come too! I'll help you!" Charmandah smiles, but shakes his head, "Peekatchu, I want you to get out...incase worst comes to worst...I can't have you stuck here too. If something goes wrong, we need our losses to be as little as possible.. Do you understand? If I get trapped forever, then at least you're not trapped with me." Peekatchu looks a bit sad, and confused, but encourages Charmandah, "I know you'll get it done Charmandah." Peekatchu steps into the portal, leaving Charmandah behind.

"Peekatchu's waking up now!" Peekatchu wakes up and rubs his head, "Ooohhhhh..." He moans. Skwertle helps him sit up, as he is a bit unsteady, "Hey, are you all right?" "I think..." Dartrix asks Peekatchu, "There was quite a gap between you and Skwertle coming back. Is everything ok?"

Peekatchu snaps back into full consciousness and remembers what Charmandah said, "Keep the portal open longer!" He randomly shouts. Everyone seems a bit confused though, and Peekatchu begins to explain to them.

Charmandah turns to the small path and begins to go down it. He squeezes through trees and bushes, but as he keeps going deeper into the woods, it gets increasingly darker, even becoming advanced darkness. Charmandah tripped around bushes and walked into trees, until he found a light eminating from the distance. He ran towards it, tripped again, then got close enough to make out what it was. "Another painting, but this time...with that Trevenant on it." Charmandah begins walking up to it, however, before he gets there, dark purple fog begins to fill in, and an evil laugh echoes, "Hello?!" Charmandah is a bit freaked out now, with memories of Lilligant's haunted house going through his mind. This voice was not the Trevenant's though.

<What do you think you are trying to do little child?>
"I...I'm going to rescue the Trevenant, guy...dude!"
<Pfft, rescue him? He's a lost cause child, for you see, it was I who has been tempting him. He is a lost cause! I've dragged him too far into the darkness to ever be reached by the light! His soul is burried six HUNDRED feet beneath the soil of heaven, weating a blindfold, under a blanket, and inside a casket. A casket, might I add, that is made out of TWENTY inch metal, and all of the seems sealed together with Mighty Putty and Duct Tape. You really think you'll be able to dig him up?>
"You're just trying to fool me into not entering that painting! That description was way too long to even be believable anyways!"
<Oh. Well, I guess you have a point..I was trying to get my point across-HEY!>

Charmandah had made a run for the painting! However, he became paralyzed!

"Can't..move!"
<Clever trick there, but even if you made it in, you couldn't help him conquer his fear.>

<Tell me this, child. If he could not conquer his fear on his own, how could a puny, insignificant, youngest child, backwards-cap wearing, failure at romance dweeb possibly help him!>

The insults had hurt Charmandah's feelings, but, he stopped to think for a second about everything else that had happened in this curse world.

<Ooh, I must've struck a cord, you've gone silent! Now please tell me, was it when I insulted your competence or when I insulted your style that made you choke? I need to know so I can write it down, I'm practicing my insults!>

"It was neither."

<Oh, ok. N-E-I-T-H-E-R HEY WAIT A SECOND!>

"You want to know what I can do to help? You want to know how I'll be able to help him! By trying! A lot of people try to handle things on there own, but if there is one thing that I have learned today, is that we CAN'T always conquer everything on our own! I conquered my fear when Deeno encouraged me, Peekatchu conquered his when I gave him a helping hand and gave him tips,

And Skwertle conquered HIS when he was given a push. Yeah, there are times in life when we need to learn independence, like with cooking or money management. But life basically gives us the image that we need to 'grow up' and handle everything ourselves. But not everything CAN be done on your own, and it is true maturity when you learn when you DO need help, AND when you can accept it. When a child is upset, they run to their parents who comfort them and help. And if your girlfriend breaks up with you, you go to a friend who can lift you up and give you advice. And even God helps us in our times of strength. I was raised by my parents to help those in need, and I will do anything I can, if I am called to help, I will not be brought down by the enemy, but instead, break....THROUGH!" Charmandah instantly breaks free of his paralysis, and dives into the painting!

<GAH! Confidence, it burns!...>

<He's out of my control now. Wait a minute...If that boy is succesful in freeing Trevenant from his fear, then I will be driven out of him! And to think of all of the trouble I've gone through to corrupt him! I guess, maybe...even the heaviest of darkness can be brightened by even the smallest of candles. Gosh did I just say something so gooey? BLEH. Why must even a dim light always outshine the darkness? But we'll see...we'll see...>
