*swish swish, clomp!*

The roots entangling Peekatchu release and shrink back into the ground, and Peekatchu falls down. Deeno, tending to Skwertle, turns around to see what caused the noise, "Oh! Charmandah saved Peekatchu! Hoorray!" She runs over to Peekatchu and lifts his body off of the ground, resting him on her back. She walks up to a tree and lays him against it, wrapping a blanket around him. She then sits down to take a break. She sighs, a little tired out from her work, "Man. I wish I could be advenruring with Charmandah right now...So much is going on, and I don't get to experience any of it. All I can do is sit behind the lines and hope." She folds her hands and closes her eyes, "I wish I could be there to help you guys, but maybe one day. Just make it through please, so we can have that one day. ACHOO!"
Just then Dartrix finally returns, coming in for a landing, "Dartrix!" Deeno runs up to meet him, "P-Peekatchu!" "Pikachu!? What happened! Is everything all right?!" "Yes!"

"Charmandah got Peekatchu free!" "Fantastic! Let's communicate with them and check in!" They run over to Peekatchu's body and try to contact them.

"Come on Charmandah, get up! It wasn't that bad!" Peekatchu pokes Charmandah to try and get him up. Charmandah gets up and moves Peekatchu's hand away, "Ok, just cut it out. Let's just move on." They then hear a voice, {Hello? This is Dartrix again! How are you all doing?} Peekatchu is confused, as he hasn't heard Dartrix yet, "Dartrix? Who are you? Are you a ghost?" Dartrix responds, {Um, technically not until my third evolution. I'm here to help you guys! So, since Peekatchu is out now, all that remains is Skwertle! Are you ready to get him?} Charmandah stands up, "More than ready!" Peekatchu is still confused though, "Wait, get Skwertle?" "Just follow along." Charmndah tells him. {You guys are doing very well, but you must hurry. Sunrise is in an hour.} "Okey! We're heading in!" Charmandah walks over to Skwertle's painting.

"I still don't get it!" Peekatchu complains.

Dartrix picks up Peekatchu and gets ready to take off, "Now just take care of Skwertle. We're almost through this." Dartrix flies off and Deeno heads back to Skwertle, "It's just you and me now Skwertle. Is it?" Somehow, she felt that that was not the case. There was something about that one tree, that strange, white tree.

"Charmandah what are you doi-HEY, That painting has Skwertle in it! Who painted it?" Charmandah walks up to it and climbs up the frame, "Uh, I don't think anyone did. I think its some kind of metaphor maybe?" Charmandah is holding on to the frame, "Hey, Charmandah, don't do that! You can't do that, you could break it. Then you'll have to pay for it." Charmandah sticks his head into the painting, which freaks out Peekatchu, "WAH! YOU CAN DO THAT!?" Charmandah takes his head out and tells Peekatchu, "All right, it looks safe. Let's head in." Charmandah jumps into the painting, leaving Peekatchu bewildered.

"Wow, I didn't know THAT was possible." Peekatchu approaches the painting and reaches his arm into it. "Wow, it works!" He waves his arm up and down, and side to side, "Hahaha, this is great! I can't belueve that I've never known this before! I can't wait to go and try this at home." He continues to play with it, moving his arm around and watching the waves he makes as if it were water. "Hehehe." However, Charmandah grabs his hand and pulls him in, "Woah! Oof!" "Sorry," Charmandah says, "But we need to get on with this." The painting fades away, leaving the two now stuck in the dark void. Peekatchu gets up amd looks around, "Hey, this looks like the black place where I was." Charmandah knods, "Yeah. I had one too. And the door is over there!" Charmandah begins walking to the door. Peekatchu follows behind him and asks, "So, what are we looking for?" "Skwertle! We need to rescue him from his nightmare." "Oh....uh. Ok?" The two arrive at the door. "Get ready to face anything Peekatchu."

Peekatchu's cheeks spark, "I'm ready!" "Good." Charmandah reaches for the handle. His hand shakes as he holds on to it, nervous of whats to come. However, Peekatchu seems completely fine. Charmandah swallows and musters his courage, he closes hus eyes and runs into the room as he throws the door open! However, it's a long fall! "AAAAAaaaaahhhhh not agaaaaaiiiiiiinnnn!!!" "Hey, wait for me! Peekatchu says. He gets a running start and jumps into the room, "Cowabungaaaa!" The two fall and fall. Charmandah keeps looking down, hoping to land in something, "Oh no, I hope this isn't one of those endless falling nightmares, otherwise we'll NEVER catch up to Skwert-*CRASH!*" Charmandah lands in a cart, and Peekatchu into the one behind him. "AAAAHHH!" Skwertle is startled by the loud clunk behind him. Charmandah then sits up, "He-" Skwertle water guns him, but quickly stops when he realizes that its Charmandah, "Hey, what the heck-SKWERTLE! We found you!" Peekatchu gets up and waves, "Hi!"

"You guys act like it's a good thing to be here." Peekatchu begins looking around, and Charmandah sits down, "So, what's the situation right now Skwertle?" Skwertle rubs his arms and slouches, "Terrible. We're stuck at the top of a rollercoaster!" Charmandah responds, "Wait, so, rollercoasters are your biggest fear?" He sighs in relief, as he feels it will be easy, however, that is not the case, "ONE of," Skwertle adds, "This rollercoaster is stuck at the very top! And the structure is made out of wood! It keeps creaking and wobbling." Peekatchu sees a lot of green waaaay on the ground, "Hey, what's with all the moldy stuff down there?" Skwertle explains, "It's not mold. They're a massive hoarde of Zombies!" Charmandah is now worried, "Wait, so, you have to deal with two fears? Yeesh." "Wow, REAL zombies? Just like a movie!" Peekatchu waves below, "Hi Zombies!" Charmandah looks beside him and sees a lever. It reads, 'RELEASE CARTS.' "Hey, this is how we'll get down!"

Skwertle looks at Charmandah, shocked, "ARE YOU INSANE! We have to stay here! If we reach the end of the ride the Zombies will eat us to death! And if we move even an inch, we'll fall down this vertical drop! We just havebto sit here, it's the only SAFE place." Charmandah tries to explain to Skwertle though, "Skwertle, the zombies are fake, everything here is fake! The only way we can get out is by riding this ride and conquering your fear." However, Skwertle doesn't budge, "I refuse to move and I refuse to let you pull that lever! I can't take this!" Peekatchu, now bored, sees the lever, "Hey, does that start it?" Skwertle quickly jumps and tries to stop Peekatchu, "DON'T DO IT!" However, his restraint prevents him from moving to much, and Peekatchu pulls it right as he talks. "Ride time, woohoo!" The ride then begins creaking slowly forward. Skwertle immediately begins panicking, "No, no, whyyyyyy." He looks down as it continues creeping, and it begins facing straight down.

Skwertle retracts into his shell, to try and protect himself. Charmandah sees this though and realizes the danger, "Skwertle, don't do that! You need to get out! The safety in these cars is weak! If you're not holding on to the bar you'll fly out!" However, Skwertle stays in his shell. "Skwertle!! Come out!" It creeps forward and begins picking up the pace as Charmandah's cart passes the top and begins descending. "SKWERTLE!!!" The carts then begins zipping sown the hill, and Skwertle's shell bounces around in his cart! "Woohoo, this is awesome!" Peekatchu yells. They zoom straight down the hill! Charmandah's cap blows off, however he catches it, "Close one!" They hit the first turn and they hit the edge of the cart, "OW! Man, this is rough!" Charmandah states. The carts continue zipping throughout the course, going up and down. The weak wood begins bouncing back and forth, struggling to handle the cart's speed. Some planks begin cracking.

The cart races along the course. as the cart begins picking up speed, it recklessly flies along the track. Peekatchu lifts up his arms, letting go of the bar, "Weeeee!!" "Peekatchu, grab the bar!" They hit a bump, and the cart jumps off the track momentarilly! Peekatchu is almost launched out of the cart, but Charmandah manages to grab his arm and help him get back in, "Hold on, got it!" Charmandah tries to speak to Skwertle again, "Skwertle, you can't hide, you need to face your fear." Skwertle responds from within his shell, "NO WAY!" Charmandah looks ahead of the course, and sees something horrible. A giant loopdeloop! Charmandah then freaks out, "Oh crud! Skwertle! You need to get out now! Theres a huge loopdeloop coming up, and you're gonna get thrown put of the cart!" Skwertle refuses to come out, even more afraid now. "Please, listen to me Skwertle! I used to be afraid of Coasters as a kid, but once you let go of fear and try it out, it's not so bad!"

Skwertle begins thinking of what Charmandah said, however, they reach the loopdeloop, and it races up! It reaches the top, and then stops! Dead silent, upside down! "This ride has everything!" Peekatchu states. Charmandah and Peekatchu are holding on tightly, however, Skwertle's shell falls out of the cart! "NOO!!!" Skwertle pops out at the last second though and reaches for the handle! he grabs it, and dangles high above the ground, "Getting over my fear! Yeah, this'll work!" Charmandah sighs in relief, but it's not over yet. The carts begins rolling forward again! Skwertle tries climbing into his seat and manages to get in as it races down. Halfway down the loopdeloop though, the wood of the whole coaster gives out! Beams all around begin crumbling down! many pieces of the track bend and even fall down! "SO," Skwertle asks Charmandah, "THINK THIS'LL WORK OUT!?!" "I HOPE SO!" After the loopdeloop comes very curvy section, made worse be the delapidation!

The cart begins launching off of section, and then landing onto other parts of the track. As they zip through the course, they actually manage to make it through, "We're almost at the end!" Charmandah cheers! Skwertle looks at the landing area though, and it too is infested with zombies, "That's NOT good Charmandah!" There are two hills before the end though. They ride up the first one with relative ease, and then comes the drop. They race down the first hill and approach the second hill, "We're DOOMED!" Skwertle shouts. However, the beams of the second hill fall apart, with the drop section falling off, turning it into one big ramp to fall off of. However, the beam holding the first hill breaks too, and the drop becomes almost vertical! The cart gains incredible speed, which launches it off the ramp, shooting very high! Now, even higher than the initial starting hill, they look around for an exit. Charmandah sees a beight light exit, coming right at them, "We're going to make it!"

However, gravity begins kicking in, and the train starts descending! "Oh no!" The train angle lowers, and theres only one thing they can do now, "Get ready to jump!" Charmandah shouts. "But the ride isn't over yet! I want to finish it!" Peekatchu complains. Charmandah grabs his hand and tells him, "Either it finishes or we finish!" They jump off at justnthe right time and fly through the portal! The cart crashes down into another part of the track and explodes! Setting fire to the destroyed track, amd zombies.

That is the end of Part 10. RIP Zombies. Oh wait, they're undead xD Have our heroes finally conquered all of the nightmares? Are they going to be free now,or will there be one final curveball to stop their way? Thank you SO much for reading, and stay tuned for the next part! : D

John Williams is indeed a great composer. He did the music for all the Star Wars trilogys, and I believe all of the Harry Potter films. He also did the music for the film Hook, and many more(Basically, if it's a super rememberable theme from a famous film, it's probably John Williams). He has made wonderful pieces of art. I mean, who can forget the cantina band song? xD
