Snow drifted lightly over the forests of Sylyore. Almost invisible against the white background, Ivory Rose slinked among the trees, wings folded on his back and red eyes watching the silent landscape. The Albino Venatavis paused to sniff at the air. "Wonder where the creatures are?" he mumbled idly.

Ok White! Mmm, sounds tasty

Arora padded through the snow, shivering very much. She couldn't see anything and kept heading in a straight line.

At last, Ivory caught the scent of a creature - another dragon. His senses went alert and he scanned the forest to see a brown form moving his way. //She looks cold,// he mused. Rather than announcing his presence, Ivory stood straight, waiting to see whether she'd bump into him or stop.

She continued walking and noticed the red eyes in the distance and stopped. "D-dralius?..." she backed up in fear.

At first, Ivory's brows raised. //Who might Dralius be?...// Then he straightened and walked nearer. "No worries, sweetie... Dralius in not here." He stopped once he was looming over her, an eerie smile on his features.

"Phew... Umm... I dont trust you though..." She backed up a bit.

The smile never left Ivory's face. "Of course not. I wouldn't either, if I had become lost a barren forest like this, only to meet a strange white dragon." His smile grew. "What is your name, sweetie?"

"...w-what she said..." Kino mumbled. The Gaurd hissed and returned to his post. Day looked at them with concern and confusion.

"Yup..." He shook his fur like a dog would since his fur was adjusted in an uncomfortable way. Day nodded. "Hmmm... Well Thank you for the compliment?..." She said still a little confused.

She looked around hoping to see a safe place to hide or run to but saw nothing. "A-arora- But why are you being so creepy... S-stop calling me sweetie.." She looked in concern, her blue eyes had slit pupils.

Kino nodded to Day. "Yeah, you do have good defenses so... I was just showing her the best way i knew how..." He shrugged.

Day looked at Novali then turned and walked over to a large door made of white glowing crystal, it was cold to the touch.

The Venatabis chuckled lightly. "My apologies - I do not mean to frighten you. But perhaps, you should not judge one from first appearance, mm?" He held out one reddish, scaly hand. "My name is Ivory Rose. Pleasure to meet you, Arora."

"I use to take kindly to anyone... But you see I am not myself after the day I met someone truly evil... Not Dralius or Crimson... I don't know who exactly but he never spoke a word..." She reverted to a past experience. "But I guess I'll try to ignore what happened that day..." She shook his talon a little nervously. "It's nice to see someone though..."

//We'll see... Hopefully Day wouldn't mind or hospitality.// He thought to her, staring at the door in awe. "A what?" Day tilted her head to Faya.

"For one who is mistrustful of strangers, you sure are open about your past," Ivory commented with an intelligent glimmer in his eye. "But you can trust me. Are you cold? I can start a fire for you," he offered with an inviting open wing.

She nodded, still shivering a lot. "I struggle with hiding emotions..." She sat and breathed on her talons then rubbed them together, wrapping herself in her feathers. "Yeah a fire sounds nice... I cant get warm..." The curled up ball of feathers muttered.

(Thank you! Hmm, I might use #FGTalon, but I'm gonna add some stuff to him to fit the world better: he has the ability to summon wings on his back at will, and he has a little bit of control over the wind. Can you set up a scene of the fam so I can stick him in? @White)

"Yup that's what his vault is for." Day opened the door and grabbed some food from it, she walked out barely managing to carry the load. "Borelo tails, bbq Rii... Plenty of variety. Pick your favorite." She said setting them down and closing the vault.

Kino walked beside the choices, thinking deeply of what sounds the best. His deep brown-ish eyes skimmed across Borelo Lizard Tails, BBQ Rii, Roasted Barinx Legs, Dryed GreenOak Leaves with really sweet sap on it and a soup made of both Rii and barinx chunks with salt flower broth. All of it frozen and lightly packed in an odd clear film that resembled plastic but was clearly not plastic.

Rudy: *cries* r-roasted barinx l-egs? hhhhOow ccOulD yoU!! *runs away* AHHAAA!!

//Point at one and ask what it is, then after you know em all, you'll know which one to choose.// He suggested. As for himself, he grabbed a large barinx leg and a rii along with a very small pate of the leaves. "How do you get this clear stuff off?..." He asked confused.

Day grabbed a bowl of saltflower soup and a pack of 2 bbq rii.

StarStruck was running away from Tsunami with laughter. "Ahh noo!" He said when Tsunami tagged him down. "Gohtca!" She said.

Talon was trekking peacefully through the snow until StarStruck's and Tsunami's voices rang out. His ears flicked up, and then he pelted in their direction, tail wagging. He stopped at the top of a hill where he could see the dragons tackling each other. "So they have dragons here," he breathed in wonder.

//Sure// He grabbed a second rii since they were moderately small. That way they could share and not have either of them still hungry.

Day made her tail into a sun again and let the rays of it hit the odd material. Suddenly it screeched and slipped off of the food seeking for the cold temperature it once had.

Kino stared with wide eyes, nearly dropping the food. "What the-"

StarStruck heard Talon's voice, but he just thought the wind was whispering through the Energy Flowers on the ground. "Hey come on lets go somewhere else." Star said. "No daddy, you just dont wanna be here because it emits a blue glow of your defeat!" She said as she ate anoher flower. "How long have you been eating those?" Tsunami ate another. "I dont know but its helping me stay energized!" Star chuckled at the name. "Rrright.."

Ivory smiled welcomingly and beckoned with a wing. "This way, then." He approached a nearby open cavern and glanced back, expecting Arora to follow.

She slowly got up and followed, squinting at the cold but staying close so she could see him. "T-thanks."

Ivory stepped into the cavern and shook out his white feathers before strolling to a fallen branch. With his claws, he broke the wood apart and piled it together in the middle of the clearing. Then, he opened his beak and hissed out a flame, which consumed the wood and leaped to life. "Better?" he said to Arora.

"Haha no need to fear." day walked up to it and picked it up. "See? Harmless. We found some sort of a nest and stuffed it in the vault, they just grab around the food to keep cold. It's almost like they eat cold..." She shrugs.

Kino set them all down and gestured. "Please get them off then..."

Day nodded and put her light by them, they screeched and banged on the vault, almost like they're begging for cold.

"Yeah... Seems better." She sat, holding her paws out slightly smiling.

Talon sensed the energy and excitement between the two, and he couldn't help but join them. He bounded forward and looked back and forth between StarStruck and Tsunami, tongue lolling. "Hello there!" he greeted.

Ivory sat back and watched Arora for a moment, red eyes glistening in the fire light. "Where do you come from, young one?" he queried thoughtfully.

"Yeah." Day said to Faya. "It's completely safe."

"Never knew... I hatched in a cage made by the humans... I escaped eventually but never knew where I'm from, who were my parents..." She dipped her head a little.

"Intriguing," Ivory remarked, not seeming to pity her, but not apathetic either. "I presume you are all alone, then?"

Tsunami eyes glistened. "OH WOW A-.. Um.. Dad whats that?.." She asked biting more flowers. Star wiggled his ears. "Oh hello! Tsunami, this is a wolf, but with antlers. However what are you really?" StarStruck asked Talon.

Talon tipped his head quizzically. "What am I?... A Nivurian, I suppose," he replied. His tail began to wag again. "And I assume you two are both dragons?"

She nodded. //"intriguing"! What is that suppose to mean...// She mocked in her mind.

Ivory's still, level gaze never left Arora's face. "You poor creature... You must feel so lonely. Surely there is no way to find your family, mm?"

"Well, yes a dragon. But I am a StarFury, I -obviously- create these beautiful shiners of the night." He made two stars from his paw pads and had them hover on top of both of Talon's antlers. "This is my daughter Tsunami! She is a wonderful hybrid of my species and a WaterFury." He smiled as Tsunami did too. "Hai Nuvibrain!"

"Probably never going to find them... i feel like i'm from a whole different world..." Arora gazed at the fire, admiring the sparks that flickered from it.

Talon gasped when the lights floated over his antlers. He went a little cross-eyed as he tried to focus on the mystical stars. "Amazing... Hello, Tsunami! I am Talon! I've never heard of a StarFury, or a WaterFury... Oh, sir, I don't believe I caught your name. You are...?"

Day nodded and gestured to the table that was there. "We can eat here." Day made a small roar and loyal servants set the table then walked back to the room where they were in.

"Oh sorry, where are my manners." He adjusted himself. "My name is StarStruck, I am the leader of all StarFury." He boldly said.

The Albino Venatavis remained fixated on Arora. "How unfortunate..." He stood and casually strolled by her until he was placed between her and the cavern exit. "You must be warmed up by now." There was a strange glimmer in his beady eyes.

Talon's ears raised in wonder. He dipped his head respectfully. "Why... greetings, StarStruck, leader of the StarFury. I am honored to meet you." He smiled as he raised his head again. Then he blinked at Tsunami. "Does this mean your daughter is the princess of your kind?"

//Why.. is he blocking the exit?...// She thought nervously. "Yeah. thanks." She tried to hide her fear, but ti was seen in her eyes after she saw the looking his. "Are you sure I should trust you..."

Kino followed her and set the food down on the table. He sat beside her, smiling into her eyes.

Ivory's red eyes glowed against his silhouette. "You are right; you should not trust me. But I fear it is too late..." With a sickening grin, the Albino lunged forward, claws outstretched to tear into Arora.

Star blinked. "I believe so." He whispered. "No wonder she gets a little spoiled.." Tsunami flustered. "Hey no Im not!" She tried bititng him. "I can feel your teeth, you grow fast."

"AHH!" Arora ducked out of the way and roared, flying up a a little, her large wings blowing strong currents in his direction to keep him away. "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU????"

(Hope you don't mind XD I mean, he's a mad killer, so you can't expect any less from him...)

"What is wrong with me~?" Ivory sang above the noise of her echoing wingbeats. "Surely there is nothing wrong in taking a snack when I'm hungry?" He smirked and lunged again, beating his wings to fight against the current of wind. His toothy beak snapped toward her.

Talon chuckled as he watched the two interact. "Nothing wrong with being a little spoiled. It shows you've got a fiery, strong spirit," he said with a wink.
His gaze found the flowers that Tsunami had been eating earlier. "Umm - I hope this is not intrusive to ask, but why were you eating these? Are they what your kind eats, or...?"

"I think I'm realizing that stranger... from before... might have been doing me a favor!" She raised her voice when backing away from the beak. "HELP!!!!!!" She screeched loudly.

An odd sound came from outside of the cave. It was as if someone was ripping through time. The sound like the flutter of wings yet as loud as a bear's roar.

(i needed a way to bring this boi in anyways hehe (you'll see who he is.))

"Love you too." Kino smiled, trying to do the same.

Day smirked upon hearing them.

(Oooh)

Ivory was moments away from gobbling up the robin-dragon, but when a rushing sound from outside reached his ears, he tossed a wary glance toward the exit, falling back some in the process. //Something's coming. If it's dangerous, I'll have to flee. What fortunate timing,// he mused sarcastically. He hovered in the air a moment, calculating gaze fixing on Arora again.

A blurr wizzed past his view. Arora, was in tears, staring at the figure... //You...// She thought.

The blurr seemed as if it was a glitch in a screen.

When the strange glitch-like illusion flew past him, Ivory retreated backwards to gain distance between him and the newcomer, forgetting about his hunt. //Who goes there?// He scanned the cavern opening readily.

(Where'd White go? :o)

The blur zipped in front of him and stood there, twitching until the blurriness disappeared. A large dragon that resembled the galaxies and stars stood there, looking at Ivory with a sort of commanding frown.
Arora stood with wide eyes.

//Yeah.. SunFury's hearing is amazing//

Ivory watched warily as the starry dragon materialized before him. His gaze flicked up at Arora, then back to the newcomer. There was an uncertain beat to his hovering wings when he growled, "Who are you?"

He scowled and swiped a talon in the sky, stars showed and formed his name... "Cideus" The odd stranger never seemed to speak.

Arora stood there speechless.

//Yeah.// He started taking small bites and cut the leg in half for Faya and scooted it over to her. He handed her a little bit of the leaves too. //If you need more, let me know.// He continued eating his half of the leg.

Ivory glared at the stars, then back at "Cideus." "You dare interrupt me?" he challenged impatiently.

(Ooooooooh boy Ivory... You dont know what you are getting into.)

He cocked his head sideways and suddenly fazed out of sight, appearing behind him, a claw digging into his feathery shoulder a little. He swiped a talon in front of Ivory's face, "I do dare interrupt you. You are endangering an acquaintance of mine." The words spelled out.

Day turned to them. "So... Do you have any idea of where Dralius went? What she's planning?" She said with a mouthful of Borelo tails (like spaghetti basically.)

Ivory immediately lunged out of the dragon's range and landed at the edge of the cavern clearing, tail sweeping up snow as he spun to face Cideus. "An acquaintance?" he said with a crooked smirk. "She said she was alone... didn't you?" he shot Arora a dangerous look.

He swiped his claw again. "I am still a stranger to her. But I feel the need to protect her." A growl escaped his throat, it echoed as if it was from all directions.

"Hm. " //Coward is still in the void...// Day thought.

"Pathetic," Ivory snorted, tipping his snout upwards. "You have nothing to do with her, and she has nothing to do with you. Leave us be."

Day chuckled a little. "Say no more. I assume you don't have the best cave to live in? or just want to stay for a little. Whatever it is, we have some rooms in the bottom of the tower. the underground region where young sunfurys sometimes stay. I'm sure I could get you a nice room there." She offered kindly. "The young ones are adorable by the way, so don't worry about them. Plus, they are always very mature."

(Just so you know, I might have to leave soon. My wifi is acting up horribly. >:( )

He stood closer, growling deeper. "I can easily disagree my friend." He throws out more stars. "She is very important to me. Soon she will know why." He spread his golden wings, they glowed brightly and he got in a defensive position.

Kino dipped his head. "Yeah... it's pretty bad..."

Day nodded, "Alright, it's settled. now let's continue to eat haha." She dug in to her "spaghetti".

Star picked one and gave it to Talon. "Try one! Its an Energy Flower. It gives you a lot of power-- like getting back on your feet when youve just came from battle."

A cocky smirk on the Venatavis's face as he dragged his talons through the snow. "Of course. So says every person to their victims." Suddenly, Ivory began to beat his wings wildly, sending up clouds of snow. As the white powder settled, he vanished, fleeing into the forest.
Ivory's wings beat rapidly as he searched his memory for a place to escape the newcomer. //That pest's a lost cause - I needn't engage in yet another fight over her measly flesh. I'll find more prey elsewhere.//

Immediately he blurs across the island till he surrounds Ivory by circling him in a fast blur. He throws out stars. "You think I was done? I saw what you did to her. made her trust you." He remarked roaring as he continued fazing around.

//It's alright.// Kino smiled to assure her.

(Ugh, my Wifi has gotten too bad to keep this up. I'm gonna have to go! See you next week!)
