Mako was watching Rani through the trees he followed her until he felt he should probably establish his presence to her. He swung down on one of the branches and was hanging upside down smiling at her. "hiya sis." He purred happily.

Rani was surprised at first as she didn’t expect him to pop out of nowhere. “Hey Mako, what are you doing?”

"Following you." He hopped down from the branch landing in his feet. "Mom and Paps is out soo I thought maybe you'd be doing something fun."

Looking at him. “Sorry bud but I don’t do anything fun. I don’t have friends.” She said with a.nervous laugh.

"Ahh that's not true you're too likeable to not, not have friends." He laughed lightly " 'sides I'm you're friend well- brother but you get the point." He laughs lightly. "So then do you wanna hang out?" His tail swayed playfully.

(Pff mako taking Rani to places so she can make friends. But in a shitpost fashion so he literally picks her up and just tosses her to other kiddos)

“I guess.” She said under her breath. Looking around thinking “Uh well we can go walk a city and maybe look around. I have money in case you want to buy something.” She said tapping her pockets.

"yeyyyy just you watch you're gunna have fun! I'll make sure of it too!" He smiled happily. "Nearest city is that way right? Let's go." His tail swayed more as his ears perked up.

Mako looked behind him at Rani "We havent gotten to hang out for a while. I'm glad we get to today." The dirt path they were walking on slowly transitioned to stone as they started getting closer to the city.

She smiles at him. “Yeah me too.” Looking around she Rani tries to spot a small store to start looking around.

“Hm nothing much, I just hang out with dad and the pet snakes. You?”

"I visited Talcot recently we got to hang out for a bit before he had to go back to Royal training or what ever he calls it. Oh and mom says hi and that she loves her kittens, meaning us-- forgot to tell you that" he scratched his cheek out of embarrassment.

Rani chuckles. “Well that’s good. I’m surprised Ms. Kina still calls us that, well I know why to you. You’re her kitten. I’m just a snake.”

My schedule for this coming week looks fairly free except for 1 day, Monday. I am unsure whether or not the others will be busy. But, on Sunday, I will be able to confirm which days will be free for me. So i'll comment on your most recent picture my free time so that we may resume the roleplay ^0^

“Yeah, dad misses you. I’m glad I was always worried about you. I don’t really like going out and my eyes have been shifting from my regular eyes and snake eyes and it kinda freaks people out. Uhh sure.” She said smiling.

"I miss him too.. yea I'll definitely go home then." He smiled then he looked at her "your eyes have been shifting too?? Mine have been doing that recently. Ahh I'm glad I'm not the only one then" he let out a sigh of relief.

“It hasn’t been a problem before, but I guess it takes getting used to controlling it. Dad wasn’t sure what to do either, I thought maybe I should ask Midas but I doubt he knows anything about snake hybrids.”

"I was sure he'd know since hes a snake too" he paused upon hearing the name Midas "Midas is that polar bear guy right? "

“He’s always been able to control it. Yeah that’s him, why do you ask?”

"Mm weird" he shrugs slightly "I've seen him a few times but never officially met him. So I just wanted to make sure" he smiled lightly.

“Yeah, he’s pretty smart but I guess we’d have to find out ourselves. I think I’m getting used to it but I see things I don’t want to see.” She laughs.

“Interesting. I see things like from a distance I can see people and their body temperature? If that makes sense.”

"yep definitely neat." He chuckled. Mako then quirked an eye brow at her. "Interested as in dating? Mm not really though I have been put in quite the awkward situation" he sighed a bit. "So do you know Kali? She's Miss Amai's daughter. So apparently I'm dating her when it was a complete accident. She dropped a feather and I picked it up and gave it back to her and then she started going nuts about something and long story short talcot tells me I indirectly asked her out.
(In afai culture, giving another a feather means you like them alot XD)

Rani looked surprised at him. “What really? That doesn’t sound too god.” She laughs awkwardly as he mentioned Talcot.

It took Rani a moment to process what Mako told her. Her face completely turned red and she covered her face with her hands.
