My starter and partner on Super are Zard & Lucario, so my picks are kiiinda similiar to yours, for the same reasons :P
Had Riolu/Lucario not been an option for my partner, I probably would've went for Totodile (I've always loved it and Feraligatr) or Fennekin.
...I probably would've went with Toto.

Ahhh, Arceus and the Destiny Tower. I've got it unlocked with Arceus' awaiting my visit but I'm putting off going there til I have both my starters' stats totally maxed out, I plan on that dungeon being the last hurrah. lol
I already have them both to max everything but HP, and their HP stats are at 4I9 & 4I7 so I don't have much more to boost.

Even if it's too late to put this here, I like that power armor from Warhammer! Some people don't really mention it here.
