Tide pods are these stupid laundry pods that have a red and blue swirl on them. They kind of look like dishwasher pods.

Yeah, I took him to the vet on Monday and they prescribed two medicines for old man problems

We thought he had a bladder stone or even just an infection, but to be sure of that, they would have had to take an x-ray. So we just ended up going with the cheaper option which was put him on antibiotics and see what happens xD

I can imagine that giving a chicken medicine is 10x worse than a guinea pig xD

My cat would wail whenever we had to put medicine in his eye (he had pink eye for a while) but he would not ever give up fighting

My grandfather’s chickens squat when they’re approached xD

Asher’s grip tightened onto Sirius as they embraced each other. After a few moments of silence, Asher finally pulled away from the hug and whispered, “Sirius, I didn’t intend for this to turn out so terribly. Can you stand? I’m sure Blue is waiting for us to return....” He grimaced thinking about having to face Blue after this.

Vincent had sent Amanda home so that he could prepare the Rose Hall for her arrival. He didn’t want to go over-the-top so he set out a small table and placed their two plates on the surface, along with two glasses of red wine. Both plates had beautifully cooked and cleaned fish along with small salads, plantains, and grilled onion.

Asher held onto Sirius as they both stood. “I doubt he’ll try to kill us. But..” Asher paused for a moment, before mumbling absentmindedly, “The other guy, I’m not so sure about...” He furrowed his brow, trying to think, but couldn’t pinpoint what he was exactly trying to think about. Figuring it was no use, he shook his head and began walking slowly, not letting go of Sirius.

As Asher and Sirius entered the room, all of the kings lifted their heads and stared at them, seemingly shocked by Sirius’s return. They were sitting at an extremely fancy dining room table that had plenty of desserts decorating the gorgeous lace tablecloth.

Blue smiled at the two, clearly not shocked. “Welcome back, Sirius. Please sit down wherever you two would like. There’s plenty of cake for everyone~”

Asher held tightly onto Blue’s hand and they both sat next to Nick, but he couldn’t pinpoint why exactly he wanted to sit by Nick in particular- perhaps because he was the least scary of the bunch.

(Side note- Because of how draining reviving Sirius was, Asher can’t really remember anything from those moments except for what he was focusing on which is why he was so dismissive when Nick started helping him heal Sirius.)

Vincent nearly folded napkins and specially prepared a bedroom for Amanda in case she wanted to sleep over. He put on a red suit and tucked a beautiful rose into the chest pocket, then anxiously waited for his date to arrive.

Vincent excitedly clapped his hands together and walked up to Amanda. “Hello!” He said, looking excited, “Thank you for coming over. You look absolutely lovely.” One part of Vincent felt as if he sounded creepy, but he figured that anything he said could potentially be perceived as creepy.

Asher seemed on guard, but kept a straight face. “All of this looks beautiful. Thank you, Blue.” He said, blandly.

Blue giggled girlishly. “Haha, aren’t they? But, they taste even better than they look! You two should try them~ They’re my mother’s recipe.”

Nick glanced over at Asher and shook his head slowly, signaling to not eat the cake.

“Oh- You don’t need to thank me! It’s always fun to hang out with you.” He blushed awkwardly before smiling again. “Come, follow me. I prepared dinner for the both of us~” Vincent purred, looking proud.

Blue carefully cut the cake and handed perfect squares to each of the kings, including Asher and Sirius. “Here you go, Sebastian,” He said as he placed the cake slice on the plate, then smiled at Sirius. “Well, you look like you have a foot in the grave,” he said, laughing as he served the vampire.

Asher looked at the cake, which made his skin crawl. Strange, maggot-looking bugs wriggled throughout the cake, and the icing smelled like rotting flesh. “This.... is....” He mumbled, before cutting himself off.

“Haha, thank you, Amanda!” He blushed and pulled out her chair for her. “I do hope you like fish. I wasn’t sure whether you ate meat or not, so I figured that it was a good option.” Then he looked like he was ready to punch himself, “My bad... I guess science you’re a vampire, you most likely would eat meat...”

Asher frowned and tried to get his friend out of this, “Blue, I should mention that Sirius is lactose intolerant.”

Blue lifted his head from his actually edible slice of cake and frowned. “Are you really, Sirius? I’m sorry!!” His face looked genuinely upset. “I guess you will not have dessert tonight, Sebastian, why don’t you eat his cake so that it will not go to waste? These cakes are only ever made once for first-time guests.”

Asher nodded and forced a realistic smile, “Alright. Sirius will eat it in spirit,” He said as he gently pushed his fork down into his cake, hearing the crunching of bugs as it tried to get the piece off. //Calm down, Sebastian. It’s not like you haven’t eaten worse...//

Asher lifted the fork up to his mouth and ate the piece of cake. He ate realistically, making sure that each bite did not look forced. Luckily the slices of cake were not too large, but compared to other things Asher had been forced to eat, this was not the worst.

Nick’s head was down, staring at the perfect slice of cake in front of him, but he was tilted slightly, looking at Asher eat the cake in shock. One part of him so badly wanted to grab him and hug him, but he knew to stay still.

Vincent felt stupid as he sat in his seat. “I would have made veal if I was positive. Oh well, we’ll just have that tomorrow night.” He smiled as he poked a tomato in his salad with a fork.

Blue stood up, randomly, then began heading for the door. “Finish your cakes! I have stuff to go situate. I’ll be back in five minutes.” He said as he closed the door behind him.

Nick sighed and looked at Asher. “Please, don’t eat both of those cakes.... You’ll get sick.”

“I don’t care whether I get sick or not. As long as Sirius doesn’t have to eat this thing, I’ll be fine.” He responded as he took another huge bite.

Nick looked at Sirius, “I’m sorry that your stay here has been so terrible...” He said, sadly.

“You think so? Thank you, again.” He took a bite of the fish after finishing his salad, but kind of rotated between plantains, fish, and onions. He looked as if he was at a loss for words, and ate instead of spoke.

“Of course it is my fault. I should be controlling Blue and keeping him from hurting you two. I did not mean for him to go as far as to kill you, Sirius. You’re lucky Ash-“ Nick cut himself off as he was about to say Asher, then just stopped talking in embarrassment.

Vincent smiled, “Hm... I believe I was a toddler when I was auctioned off to the Rose Hall. They put me to work almost immediately, since I caught on to my tasks so easily.”
