Firstly, yes indeed, it would be nice to see some OFFICIAL heavy female lead characters (not just fan art). But the art designers are entitled to their preferences, too. May be some day... :P
Upon personal inspection, yes, the hips do look kinda funny. That was just from not being careful when adding the weight. About the arms, after seeing Rosalina in the beach volley ball from Mario & Sonic, I had kind of construed her as more bottom-heavy than Daisy and Peach. I guess this was sorta a byproduct of that notion.
But you can trust me when I say, if I ever get an art design position for a video game project, there's gonna be a heavy girl in there somewhere, for us free thinkers. XD
