art is hard.
I'm having a tough time getting started with this new tablet (I got a screenless wacom one). Mostly because I dont understand these art programs. If you're experienced with it, could you tell me some good (preferably cheap or free) programs for beginners? And maybe some links to tutorials as well? Or other advice? It would be greatly appreciated!

Try FireAlpaca, from what I've seen, it's pretty good for a free program.
Here's an experienced persons review of it and one or two others:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PuIGqjqp2LI&t=614s

Medibang Paint for sure! It's a better version of Firealpaca, and is best suited for getting to learn the overall layout of an art program ^^

Medibang or Krita, those are going to be the best for you! As for advice I'm still kind of new to it myself I say just play around with it.
