Yvanna, Joan's mother. She was extremely vain and materialistic. Though her husband worked hard to support their five daughters, she made him pay for her expensive lifestyle, with the threat that she would leave him. She was also very mentally and emotionally manipulative of her girls, always turning them against each other, and telling them they were worthless. It really messed Joan up in the long run.
