The lost abilities

Since of feeling:
A Dreamer at one time had a Sixth Sense, they could since others emotions, most could only sense the feelings but a few could manipulate the others person's emotions, calming them down, or aggravate them, before the curse a Dreamer pearls on there body would absorb the / positive/ emotions of others and use it as energy.( More on this in a bit)

The Dreamer of the past could also share their feelings with others, this was done by touch, and them choosing to share there feelings to the other.

Note:The only way a Dreamer in present time, can feel and share emotions is by placing there forehead to someone else forehead, this is called the 'Dreamer kiss' and is only done with family, and though who are very close to them, this is because the Dreamer is sharing there true feelings to that individual.

for Dreamers to Dreamers they share there true feelings but if it's done with a species that is not one like a Dreamer they would feel a warm claiming feeling ( if they have a positive feeling for that individual) the person would feel a cold uneasiness ( if the Dreamer has negative feeling for that individual)

Hypnosis:
A Dreamer at one time could put someone to sleep, depending on the individual this could be done by, touch, sound or emotion.
( Some Dreamers can still do this depending upon what Magic they possess )

Fun facts: though the Dreamers can't feel the emotions of others like they use to and put individuals to sleep, the Dreamers Fairfin is more sensitive and picking me up other people emotions not to the extent of what a Dreamer could do but they can / usually/ tell if someone upset or something worry them, they also take the Dreamer power hypnosis and keep the Nightmare inside them asleep ( though the Fairfin has on idea they are doing this)

Dream drifting and walking:

Dream drifting and walking I practically the same except. Dream drifting is when the dreamer drifts into someone else unintentionally, this is usually done when the Dreamer is a sleep and their subconscious drifts to someone else who is also sleeping and they visit that persons dream.

Dream walking is we're the Dreamer intentionally goes into someone else's dream, the Dreamer can still be awake or asleep, they can touch the sleeping individual or drift into there dream.

Either way it's done by drifting or walking the Dreamer can even pull someone over to there dream/mind world.

In ether their own dream or the other individual a Dreamer could manipulate that dream to what they want, this was something natural to them, however the environment could change depending upon the individual's emotions and their ability to control them, the more experience could do grandeur things but fawn/kids we're known to create more imaginative things.
A Dreamer presents within 100 yards could also Grant individual sweet dreams even without the Dreamer invading ones dream.

There ability to walk and manipulate dreams was also why there species was named 'Dreamers'
To Dreamers walking in one another's dreams was a part of life and was used for many reasons but mostly they just socialized in a dream.
With other species the Dreamer would usually ask permission to walk in that individuals dream so not to offended them by invading their personal privacy.

Fun facts: 2 particular Dreamer Prince's would use this ability to get information and got in big trouble.

The Awaken:
a Dreamer awakened form, unlike the Vaseterm we're only Royals can awaken over half the Dreamer population could despite inheritance, how this was achieved was how much a Dreamer absorbed positive emotions and we're able to control that energy, because the power comes from positive emotions there was no or little discomfort in shifting however after converting back the Dreamer is usually tried but that's about the worst side effect. (Dreamer out of my trilogy have lowest recoil from Awakening as Nightmares have the highest )
there was a difference between golden, silver and obsidian of these variances in appearances even more so was the Royals. Royals could also take this form more naturally then other Dreamers and with less need of positive emotions from others.

Awaken Dreamers are creature of pure light and Masters of illusion/dreams and because of the positive emotions they use to take this form, an Awaken Dreamer gave off an aura around them that could inspire others.

The Awaken form also affected and applied to all the Dreamers alternate forms.

History:
During the time of the Kings War with Soledormir fewer and fewer Dreamers we're able to Awaken do to Bleak time and people living in fear.

Soledormir know for taking trophies from the world's he would soon Concord and use them to bring down there world, he claimed a Dreamers Prince from the land of dreams, Soledormir however was sealed away by the Kings before he could take the land of dreams but not before he place a powerful curse.

With the curse of the Nightmare upon all Dreamers these abilities have long been forgotten to even have existed, to the present day.

Nightmares now use these abilities in there own evil Twisted ways.

Fun facts: Fairfin were made to keep asleep the Nightmare inside their Dreamer partner but also to substitute the energy a Dreamer use to gain from others emotions, this why a Fairfin and Dreamer need to stay close enough to we're they feel each other's Bond
