Her main coat color is brown, like the secondary color of Ravenclaw (i know its technically bronze, but close enough), but the markings are supposed to similar to that of a little owl. They have combination of white and brown feathers that just look like a collection of dots. I took that idea and made it more stylized so that I could make her into a winter themed pony as well.

The owl's name is Phoenix because in the early days of pottermore, this account's username was "dragonphoenix (bunch of numbers". I tried to combine the two words to use both parts for the pet's name, but I couldn't create a name that I liked. In the end, I decided to go with Phoenix because I thought it was a better name for a pet owl than Dragon.

Her name comes froms her cutie mark and her cm comes from the wand wood. I knew that it wouldn't be recognizable as holly leaves unless I added the berries, and so I did. The name just came along with that choice.

As far as an "Equestrian" reason she has that cm, idk. I haven't really thought about it.

Her personality comes from her house traits and wand traits. She is intelligent and loves learning. However, she also gets frustrated and angers easily. She also has a flair for the dramatic and likes to dress to impress.

She is essentially the Rarity of my ponies, but I haven't thought out a profession for her.

Her bangs are supposed to similar to thd horned serpent's horns. Her hair tie has the symbol for the the Ilvermorny house, which you can see better on her ref.

The colors of Ilvermorny, canberry, blue, and gold are used for her main and hair ties.

Other random facts include that she is Laurel's cousin and she grew up as ann upper class pony in Canterlot. I imagine that she has a medium magical ability but is very knowledgeable about it and many other subjects as well.
