maybe both? pink underbelly and nose? cosmic colors in the rest??

What if, Uju could be pale pink normally, but if he gets mad or uses his powers or something, he could turn Cosmic purple.
Or you could mix both colors into his design, like make his arms purple or legs, tail, body etc
