Asher looked intruiged. “That sounds like fun.”

Blue looked at Sirius, “It will be so much fun! I believe you’ll like them! They are all so wonderful~!” He said asthey walked into the phenomenal dining room. Everyone was already seated, and there were three empty chairs left. One at the head of the table, and two across from each other. In front of those chairs had name tags that said “Sebastian” on one chair and “Sirius” on the other.

Blue smiled at the three women and the three men— all of them waved back, some saying hello and other greetings. Based on their behaviors, dinner seemed to be a peaceful time in the castle, where fighting and death was unusual.

Elizabeth was sitting directly next to Sirius’s seat, blood and puss dripping all over the chicken leg that sat on her plate. Beside her was Alex, who was shoving little spoonfuls of food in a small slit under his mask. At the edge of the table was Samantha, who was waiting for Blue to sit at the head of the table. On the other side of the table, next to Asher’s seat was Nicholas, the grey-skinned man wearing a red shirt and black tie he was not eating, but had a plate full of food in front of him. Beside Nicholas was Bunni, who had turned her potato into the shape of a rabbit, and finally was Viktor, who was drawing on the expensive tablecloth.

Vincent looked at Amanda with a happy gaze, feeling glad that she had defended him. “Amanda, it’s alright. I understand her hostility.”

Patty crossed her arms and looked away, still angry at Vincent.

Vincent smiled. “I cannot let anyone die in Blue’s grasp, so don’t worry about them.”

Patty looked back at Amanda, “I don’t trust that they can keep themselves safe. They’re too young.”

I’m gonna be slow, we’re going out to dinner

Asher sat down across from Sirius, next to Nicholas. He seemed to cringe at Elizabeth, looking at her mask. He looked down at his empty plate, then, to be polite, he began putting food on it. “Sirius would you like me to pass you anything?”

Blue stood up on his chair, “Everyone! These are our lovely guests Sirius and Sebastian! Please be kind to them~!”

Nicholas turned to look at Asher, but didn’t say anything.

Alright I’m back!

Asher smiled and handed the potatoes over to Sirius. “Here,” He said as he passed them. He adverted his gaze from Elizabeth and began to eat, occasionally glancing over at the other kings.

Nicholas had a smoothie of the food blended, and he had put a straw into the mouth hole of the mask. He kept glancing over at Asher and Sirius, almost suspiciously.

Eventually Asher looked at Nicholas and said, “Hello. What’s your name?” Asher stared at Nick with a somewhat angry stare, feeling perturbed by Nick’s behavior.

Blue looked at Sirius, smiling. “I do hope you enjoy the food! My cooks are only the best!”

Vincent frowned, “Blue will still try to kill or hurt them whether they are hostile or not...” He said, distantly.

“What do you mean?” Patty questioned, staring at him with a confused gaze. “He better not hurt them!”

“He doesn’t care whether they’re nice or not, he just wants someone to amuse him. I would say that games are intriguing enough for him, but he thoroughly enjoys hearing people’s screams.” Vincent then stopped talking.

“Stop making everything so confusing!!” Patty stood up and glared at him. “What are you talking about?!”

“I simply cannot say anything else. I’m sorry.”

“Ah, I hope I didn’t bother you,” said Nick behind his mask. He dipped his head in embarrassment. “I just thought you looked familiar, and was trying to figure out where I last saw you. My name is Nicholas, it’s nice to see you, Sebastian.”

Asher narrowed his eyes inquisitively, then grabbed Nick’s hand. “It’s nice to meet you, too.” He then looked back at Blue and Sirius, trying his hardest not to look at Elizabeth. It didn’t help that her breaths make the blood gurgle.

Blue beamed at the compliment, “Really? That’s fantastic! If there’s anything at all that you dislike, I’ll make sure to take care of it. Don’t be shy if anything is wrong, Sirius.”

“I have no clue why he invited them. I believe he’s noticed some of their recent activities, but that still makes no sense for him to take them.” Vincent scratched his scalp. “Maybe he senses strong energy coming from them, but he couldn’t decide which one?” He hummed a little, “But, no one knows what that child is doing.”

Patty tilted her head, but now seemed distant, trying to understand this information.

Blue giggled, “Dinner is over in ten minutes. Eat a little quicker everyone~!” His gaze flattened and he put his utensils down. “Then, it’s time for punishments and dessert!”

Asher glanced over at Sirius, looking concerned.

“Nothing from Blue is good.” He chuckled, then changed the subject without warning. “Amanda, would you like to come home with me, tonight?”

“What? Vincent, this isn’t the time!” Patty glared at him, now angry once more.

Asher relaxed his expression, trying to keep Sirius as calm as possible. He was indeed nervous, and he figured that Blue would probably drag them to whatever He’ll awaited them. The minutes ticked on, and sitting with a bunch of royal strangers didn’t help this situation. Asher was both nervous about getting hurt and also about hurting others.

“Do you want to come home with me? I’ll treat you to dinner and your own bedroom.” He now seemed to be completely ignoring Patty as she yelled at him telling him to stop.

Vincent stuck his tongue out at Patty, then smiled. “You acted like a jerk to me, so why should I offer nice things to you?”

She tilted her head and scoffed, “Are you on drugs or do you just suck at hitting on girls?”

Blue seemed to notice Sirius’s unease, and got off his chair. “Come on now, everyone~! Let’s go see everyone that made silly mistakes today!” Blue clapped his hands, and dinner was over. Obediently, all of the kings sat up and began to follow him out of the dining room, except for Nick, who waited for Asher and Sirius.

“It’s best that you two go to this event. Blue pretends not to get upset with people who don’t join in, but the next day will torture them ruthlessly.” Nick said, looking caringly at the two boys.

Vincent gently punched Amanda and blushed like a child. “I do not do drugs! You two should bring me down like this!”

Patty snorted, “I bet if you did drugs, you’d be normal.”

“Or exponentially worse.”

Asher nodded at Nick before following after Sirius. “Let’s hope that this torture is just that they don’t get dessert.” He said, trying to be light.

Vincent smirked at her, “Some people act absolutely nuts on drugs, but others act so plain that you would just think they’re tired.”

Patty giggled, “Sebastian gets giggly when he’s high. Once we went to a party, and he was offered a brownie, and he ate several just to be polite. He kept laughing at jokes and other things that he would normally blank-face.”

Vincent and Patty nodded simultaneously, then Patty said, “There’s a higher chance of winning the lottery than there is making him giggle.”

“.... I can only think of one way to keep you from seeing or hearing it, but I would rather not.” Asher responded, looking away from his friend with a guilty expression as they arrived at a fancy ballroom. This one was relatively small and the ceilings were low.

Blue clapped and put on his silver and gold mask, which the other kings seemed to cringe at when they saw it. “Haha, Elizabeth, you made our guests extremely uncomfortable so you go first~”

The blonde girl sighed nervously and walked to the middle of the room, then turned around and looked at Blue.

Patty laughed as well. “He’d probably be so much cooler if head a sense of humor.”

Vincent giggled along with Amanda.

Blue calmly walked up to Elizabeth, but before Sirius could see what was about to happen, Asher put his fingers over Sirius’s eyes and his palms on his ears. He gently pressed his chin on his friend’s head, trying to comfort him from what was happening.

Vincent smiled, “Of course I would like a drink! Thank you very much for asking. I’ll like to try what you’re drinking.”

Patty nodded, “Yes please. Remind you to repay you afterwards, though.”

(And he doesn’t even have a sad backstory. He does this because he just wants to xD)

After several minutes, Asher lifted his hands off of Sirius’s face. Elizabeth was on her hands and knees, bleeding profusely out of her mask. Her red dress had been torn and she was covered in an immense amount of bruises. Most of these injuries seemed to be from blunt force, which was supported by Blue now holding a cane splattered with blood.

Blue turned around and grinned at Sirius and Asher. “Wasn’t that so much fun~?”

Vincent’s face darkened at Amanda’s toned body, and he followed her without hesitation. Patty noticed Vincent’s changed expression, and she smirked, thinking of ways to embarrass him.

Elizabeth gently brushed her dress off, and stood up. She wobbled over to Nicholas and gently rested her head on his shoulder, to which he just placed his hand on her mask.

Without waiting for an answer, Blue glared at all of the kings, wondering who was next, but his impatience got the best of him and he just shook his head. “I guess none of the rest of you were too terrible today. I want the MAIDS!” His gaze gleamed with enjoyment as he thought about what he wanted to do to the women who failed to clean his playroom.

Vincent stood uncomfortably close to Amanda, but not on purpose.

Patty looked up at the menu, then smiled, “I want the strawberry kiwi smoothie!”

Asher shrugged, “I do not want to sound insensitive, but this is just life. These kings have been through this since we were small, this day is most likely a regular occurrence for them.” He looked away from Sirius.

Nick gently tapped Sirius’s shoulder. “You shouldn’t feel bad. We’re all terrible people, anyway.”

Vincent shrugged, “Just get me whatever.” He said, staring at Patty, who was pretending to evilly rub her hands together.

Nick shook his head, the cute smile on his mask contrasting his tone. “They are terrible acts, but we all get up from the pain and we learn from the experience. Elizabeth will now know to bandage her face when we have new guests during dinner.” He gently pushed Elizabeth towards them, showing that the bleeding in her face had slowed. “Besides, she’s absolutely fine, now. You don’t need to feel bad for us, Sirius.”

Asher looked at Nick, quietly questioning whether to trust him or not.

“Yes!” He responded, excitedly. “Pomegranates are my favorite~” He clapped his hands a little, looking happy.

Patty giggled at Vincent’s childish actions. “You’re like a kid in an adult’s body.”

I think I’m going to go to bed now
