Luki was born in Rito Village to a mother who was barely at home, and a father who had died a month prior to illness. Luki, however, inherited his father's crimson scarf. Luki's care was the responsibility of an older citizen of the village, mookie, who lead him outside of the village, planting the seed of his desire to travel. Luki and his friends also played pranks on travelers and other residents of Rito Village, giving him a child-like edge as he grew older.
