Vaseterm's usually refer to their family members as 'kin'
Silverbloods most the time hold tight bonds with there kin and are very family oriented.
( In more of
the old days when they weren't Hunted)
Because of Vaseterm's
long life span it's not uncommon for a mother or father to see several of their children descendants in there life. And would help out from time to time when they could.
An living Vaseterm ancestor will refer to their descendants as ether grandchild some will even refer to them as son our daughter despite how many greats there are
( Great ( add 5 More) grandson, like that )
But in the old days back on Deluna the whole family would usually keep in touch some way or another.
Believe it or not the Vaseterm are actually quite open about adopting children into there family, especially after the fall of Deluna with the rise in lost child's.
( Some who are not opposed of it will even adopt half bloods and outside children, Victoria has done this throughout the centuries )

Kin can also experience a very rare kind of Vision with one another, it's a type of 'Cross Vision' ( I will explain more in a different lore )
This is we're a family member can speak to one another thought vision even if there are realms a part /however/ usually one of the participants has to be experience in visions to do long distance or thought time.
(Fun facts: Victoria attempted this when Catch blood first started to turn silver and his Vaseterms powers we're waking up, even for someone as experience as Victoria it was very difficult to speak with Catch and he only got parts of it, now Cataclysm is in Catch and is blocking Victoria in speaking to the moon blood )

( Siblings )
Siblings generally do have strong family resemblance, in one another and there parents.
One of the closest bonds is the one between siblings, don't get me wrong they still have there sibling rivalry and arguments, but between siblings silverbloods have a kind of Sixth Sense, siblings can sense one another presents and even track one another with it. It's much much stronger with twins however, and they can even since there sibling in a another realm and track them.
When a sibling is using there since to track down one another there war paint glow a more White color, the sibling being tracked can feel the one looking for them
( females do have war paint in there human form but it only shows for different things, tracking siblings, using strong spell, opening portals, using familiars and Awakening)
It's not entirely uncommon for there to be a few hundred years or thousand between siblings when it comes to pure blooded Vaseterm, but even so there still a bond between them.

I've never read or heard the word "kin" the same since I've learnt about people who are fictionkin/otherkin/[insert animal here]kin...
I still think of kin as in relatives, but fictionkins are what immediate come to mind when I see or read "kin."
