The mysterious Trevenant reveals itself to #Charmandah and #Peekatchu, "AAAAHHK!" Peekatchu screams hiding behind Charmandah. Charmandah himself was very thrown off by the random appearance, but he tries to keep his cool, "AAH, Ahh, I mean, uh, Hello! Stranger...." The Trevenant simply stares back at them, "You two..." Before he gets any further, Peekatchu cries out, "Please don't kill us! We're sorry for angering you! We'll never do it again!" Charmandah is annoyed at Peekatchu's sudden outburst, "Peekatchu, don't jump to conclusions! Heh heh, sorry, my friend here thinks that you're some crazy killer trying to get us. I'm sorry for his behavior. We'll be on our way now. Come on Peekatchu." The Trevenant does not react. He ponders what to do with his next action, (These souls are innocent..Argggh, can I really bring myself to do this?) Charmandah slowly backs away, but Peekatchu sees the oppurtunity to run, and takes it, "Aaaaahhh!! HELP!!!"

The Trevenant then realises that he has to act. Whether these two were nice or not, if he were to be found out, things could get even worse for him, he couldn't let anyone know of his existence. He quickly regrets his decision to follow his dark ambitions, but now it seemed like it was the only way out of this mess. He used Phantom Force and faded into the ground, "Oh no!" Charmandah exclaimed, as he realised that perhaps Peekatchu was right! The Trevenant crashes into Peekatchu, a powerful ghost type attack, knocking the weak Pikachu over. "You cannot leave this forest anymore." Charmandah runs to the aide of his injured friend, and holds him up. Then, he yells at the Trevenant, "Who are you!? I've been through here hundreds of times and it's never been haunted!?" The Trevenant sternly replies, "A lost soul...this is the only place I have to hold, and you invaded it. And now you must pay the price for your tomfoolery." Charmandah knows he won't win this alone, so he tries to resolve

the issue passively, "But WHY though!?" The Trevenant flinches, and looks away. Charmandah realises he must've hit deep. SUPER EFFECTIVE! The Trevenant's anger is only fueled more though, "That's none of your business!...It's the only way to calm my broken spirit..." Charmandah is confused and unsure how to respind, "Umm....Have you tried Yoga?" "Enough!" The Trevenant fires a huge Shadowball toward Charmandah! Charmandah jumps out of the way holding Peekatchu, but the blast's shockwave launches Charmandah, releaing Peekatchu. Chamandah gets up, know separated from Peekatchu, is now stuck facing the Trevenant alone, "Couldn't we just settle this over a milkshake or something?" The Trevenant declines Charmandah's most generous offer, and uses Will-O-Wisp! The fiery flames launch toward Charmandah, "Fire? That's something I can do!" He takes in a deep breath, and blasts a Flamethrower attack! The two fiery blasts collide, cancelling each other out!

"Fight Fire with Fire! Or better yet, water, but we don't have that! Now is not really the time for jokes Charmandah! Or talkingnto yourself. Why are you talking to yourself?" The Trevenant is done joking around though, and uses another Phantom Force attack! He disappears into the ground and races towards Chamandah. Charmandah freaks out, "No no no! Not Phantom Force! I don't know where he is!" Charmandah frantically looks around, then, notices the shadow moving across the ground! Charmandah jumps out of the waybefore the Trevenant pops out at him, and safely dodges the attack! The Trevenant tries the attack again, but Chamandah continually jumps out of the way right before Trevenant pops up! The Trevenant notices his strategy though, and just as Charmandah starts getting cocky, the Trevenant switches it up. Rather than going under Charmandah, he stops early and begins to circle him rapidly! This throws Charmandah off guard, not knowing which way to jump!

Charmandah decides to make a run for it and runs straight ahead, but he only runs straight into the Trevenant's trap! Trevenant charges straight behind Charmandah as he runs and pops up! He then un:eashes a series of consecutive Shadow Claws, knocking Charmandah flat. The Trevenant, having them both down, sticks his roots into the ground, and controls the roots of trees! The roots come up and wrap around Charmadah and Peekatchu, trapping them in it's wrap! "Stuck!" Charmandah grunts. The Trevenant laughs, "You fought well, for a first form! You should concider evolving and working on your skills, oh wait, TOO LATE!" The roots tighten slightly, getting Charmandah and Peekatchu trapped in a bind!

Meanwhile, outside the forest, Skwertle sits outside of Datrix's tent, awaiting the return of his friends. At this point, Skwertle is really starting to worry, (Oh man, did something bad really happen to them? Was I too foolish to have run ahead? Maybe...They're just playing a prank?)

(No...I can't wait any longer, I have to run in and check on them.) Skwertle, gathering his courage, heroicly runs back into the forest to find his friends. Dartix comes back out of the tent, holding a blanket he was going to give Skwertle as he waited, but sees that he is no longer to be found. "Hello? Water type? Hm, his friends must have came and they left. I'm very dissappointed they didn't at least say au revoir to me though. Now I might never get to see them again. Well, best of luck on their journey." He reenters the tent.

"Owww, ow, OW!" The roots slowly bind harder and harder. The two try to handle the pain, as Trevenant watches their suffering, *Doesn't this just feel so right? Now you hold the power of life and death, you are in control! Doesn't it resonate within you?* It didn't however, as Charmandah let out a scream, Trevenant froze. Remembering the great pain he once felt, the pain with which he hat.ed, now he was inflicting it onto somebody else.

Skwertle raced through the woods, sweating as he ran, "These shells obviously weren't made for running with!" As he stopped to catch his breath, he heard Peekatchu's scream, just around the bend, "Holy marsh.tomp! They ARE in trouble!" Skwertle gathers his strength as he finishes the bend.

Trevenant begins to contemplate what he is doing, he looks at his hands in disgust, "I've become the very thing I sought to fight within me." He loosened the roots, and the two feel fainted to the ground. All Trevenant could do was stare in horror at what he had done, *Why did you stop? Finish them off! Let your frustration be complete!* Trevenant could only shake, as the good and evil fiercly battled within his thoughts. He wanted to stop, but he felt as if her were too far gone to ever right this wrong. But he couldn't go forward with it either, "Which? Which!? WHIIICH!?! AAAGH!!!"

Just then, Skwertle ran across the bend, and stopped with horror at what he witnessed.

His friends lying motionless on the ground, and a mysterious and questionable character next to them. Skwertle lost all of his courage and stood there. The Trevenant upon uncovering his face, saw Skwertle, and reacted similarily! A witness!

Skwertle took a step backwards, the creature had looked straight at him! Now he feared for his own life. Both of them, staring straight into the other's eye, afraid of their next possible move.

With seemingly no other option, Trevenant makes a last second choice! He uses Forest's Curse, and plunges the entire area into darkness!

Then.....silence.
Pitch'
Black.
Silence.

That is the end of this part! Am I getting good with suspense? xD This is so far my favorite part! Lots going on and I was fully invested in writing! That is how yoy make good. Well, I hope you all enjoyed! Stay Tuned! : D
