Vaseterm are considered a mythical species, there know for there high magic content primarily in visions, but also in Elemental and summoning Magic and for Royals and their abilities. Vaseterm are not only impressive with there Magic but there physical attributes, they are fast, stronger and can recover quicker then average species ( human, Dreamers, king Griffin's and so on)
they are also a very naturally attractive species.

But because of all of this, silverbloods have a very slow pregnancy term and development time

When a silverblood kiss the one they what to be there life long partner with, it does more then just bond them to that individual, it seals them to that person as they're the only individual they can reproduce with. ( Not that a silver blood would ever want anyone other than there mate )

Fun fact: this is one of the reasons why Soledormir had to trick a female Vaseterm in picking him as her life partner, he also a very twisted and demented guy and just like to hurt people in the most cruelest ways

[pregnancy term span]

female's Vaseterm have 2 seasons in a year that they can conceive, and have a Fairley good fertility rate, however because of the long pregnancy term of 4 years, 6 for Royals and the /toll/ it takes on them (there will be more on this) a female well generally only have 1 to 2 offspring in her life (in rare occasions they have more)

For a half blood offspring the pregnancy term is what ever the outsider species would be and double it, and for a Royal you add 6 month for each familiar.

For example a Dreamer term is a year, so it would be 2 years.
A human is 9 months so it be 18 months.
A Zeharu (BloodHyrbid close species)
is 2 years, so it be 4
And so on and so forth

[during pregnancy]

When (any) female is in her pregnancy term with a silverblood, her appetite will increase even more then a normal pregnancy.

The mother will also need to absorb moon light for her baby development.

An outsider when she conceives, will develop 'the kiss of the moon' during her terms, ( she gets a kind of glow in the moonlight)
her body will be able to absorb moon light for her developing Child, however she will lose this however after giving birth.

[ Delivery]
When it gets time to deliver the (any) females labor can vary depending on the time of day, her body will instinctively wait to give birth until Nightfall, meaning her delivery time can be very quick if at night or she in for a very long day until Nightfall for birthing her silverblood offspring.

When the female silverblood give birth she is extremely weak and can't move for a whole week, this is because she gives her energy to her offspring at birth, during her recovery she has to rely upon her mate to take care of her and there child, as a defense during her recovery time the female silverblood give off a pheromone that makes her mate more protective over her and there child ( this usually only effects male silverbloods)
He will /usually/ let clan members are those he trusts help care for his mate and child but anyone he doesn't know or even has a Inkling they could harm them he won't let that individual near his mate and child, this effect will end when his mate is back on her feet and stop producing the pheromone.

A outsider with have a similar effect but will only be a few days we're she cannot or its difficult to move and needs help, but she does not produce the pheromone a silver blood does. (But males are protective anyways over there mates )

[the copying effect]

Vaseterm blood has a unusual ability of copying, when a Vaseterm breeds there offspring will inherited traits of both parents, this includes appearance, its why all Vaseterm have the trademark silver hair with a black color pelt
(there be more on this for half blood) magic abilities can be inherited through the bloodline a long with Guardian familiars
this copy effect can also pass down talents and also habits, and this can be even go down though several Generations.

/Sometime/ a silverblood will get a feeling like they know something even though they themselves have never seen, hear, or spoke it before.

For example: Catch when his silverblood wake up he knew how to activate a gate (a teleporting device) even though he had never seen one before, he also stated to speak/chant the Vaseterm magic language and hasn't a clue in what he saying, he just knows it does some with magic.

This is all because someone in there blood line had done something like that, it's also why silverbloods can be very fast in learning certain things ( usually that connected to there Vaseterm side ) and is kinda like instinct.

Note: it's also how some lost child can figure out something with there Magic without being told our show.
Fun fact: Catch also has a habit in taking his fingers through his hair when he frustrated or doesn't know what to do, kinda like some other Dreamer Prince's do to.

[ mix blood]

Because Vaseterm Magic blood can copy they can cross breeds with any species with a humanoid form, this however has it's side effects.
The silverblood offspring will /always/ have the true form of the outsider species but have the Vaseterm signature detailing, gemstone horns, silver hair ( as an adult) arm bands ( human form) wings ( for male)

Because a half blood will always have the appearance of the outsider many purebloods do not accept them as Vaseterm.

This is because one a blood line is introduced with a new species that line can never go back to having purebloods.

For example, if a moon blood (Dreamer/Vaseterm) has a offspring with a pureblood Vaseterm they will have a moon blood, and if that child pick a pureblood and have offspring they will also have a moon blood, this will continue down the line until a new species is introduced to the blood line, and start having mix breeds of that species.

This is why many of the Vaseterm people fear Extinction of the pureblood do to the half bloods, and they referred to mix blood line as 'tainted' they also get pretty upset that because of the half bloods the outsiders species are gifted with the Vaseterm magic and abilities.

Also some of the half bloods develop unique abilities not common to either species.

Half blood can also suppress there Vaseterm side and appear more like there outsider half, but still keep some subtle hints of it. Catch and Ethan are good examples of this

[ Red Demon ]

Red Demon are the same as any silverblood other than there is some differences because of their chaos Magic and need for the blood moon light instead of a silver moon.

Because of there Rarity and other species fear them it's almost unheard of a red Demon to have offspring but it is possible.

Unlike other females that carry a silverblood and are exposed to a blood moon her Child does not drain life energy because they both have chaos Magic and neutralize its effect on each other. However the blood moon will still disform the infant but seen the mother will be absorbing the blood moon light the entire time it not stressful on either mother or child seen it happen as the baby is growing slowly inside of happening in hours.

If the mother red demon wish to have her baby with a normal body she would have to go without absorbing the blood moon light her entire pregnancy term, she would be putting her own life at risk in doing this, silver moon light can't sustained a red Demon forever and doesn't give the energy they need to support themselves and their child, the female would have to feed on others living thing with her chaos Magic for energy, in doing this the child will have a normal body but likely prefer to feed with chaos Magic then absorbing moon light.

Male red demon have the lowest chance of having offspring out of the silverbloods, this is because of their chaos Magic will usually grain and kill the female eggs, in the extreme Rarity the female is able to conceive she in for a very rough pregnancy terms, as the baby grows they will be draining her life energy and make her very sick. A outsider female can ease this sum by absorbing light of a blood moon but the child will become deformed as a silverblood would just have to endure the baby's draining effect.
One the female give birth her recovery time recovery time is much greater than a normal silverbloods or outsider and can last for weeks to a month. The male red demon would be extremely aggressive and protective over his mate during her entire pregnancy term and Recovery.

The only time a male red demon has a better chance in having offspring is with other red demon because there chaos magic cancel each other out

Re: the baby will develop in whatever form the mother is, and is usually a humanoid form.

However a Vaseterm can conceive in there true form if there mate a Equine species as well.

For a half blood in there true form they would have to be of a similar species as there mate.

But any Silverblood can conceive in there humanoid form with a another humanoid species.

What ever form the female is when she conceived, she won't be able to shift until her pregnancy term is over.
( This can change depending on what the outsider species term is however)

Because female silverbloods will only have a few offspring in her life time and outsider usually produce more ( and of course there half blood) something was done to the Vaseterms species to we're females are born more than males are ( though you wouldn't think that x'D)

Let's just say the Vaseterm have done some pretty drastic measures in trying to keep half bloods out of the blood line ( creating Omen was one of them )
