It's been snowing where I live too (NC) but none of the snow's been staying, so we just have wet mushy ground. BLAH. Still cool to see though, it's a real treat for us southerners... XD
And this reminds me of the Gargoyles cartoon, man I miss that show.

Damn, you went to bed at EIGHT? That sounds miserable. lol. I /hate/ when the power goes out. In winter, atleast, anyway. When it's warm I can just go find some bugs to mess with to pass the time.
And the shading's definitely got a more 3d look on this. I the reflective light on rocky's arms and left leg could be a little stronger & more refined though-

snow's always nice as long as it doesn't freeze and get dirty so you don't slip
walking on snow is like a training session to be cautious (slippery/hardened snow)
