as well as the extra hair on her legs, is supposed to resemble that of a chow dog. You can kind of see the same pattern on her dog, Wildheart. Even though chow dogs are a golden color Laurel is black because the secondary color of Hufflepuff is black.

So why is Laurel connected with chow dogs when she is a Hufflepuff and should be accociated with badgers?

Well, on the account that she is based off of, the account's patronus is a chow dog. The dogmis her loyal friend and very protctive of her. The dog's name is Wildheart because in the early days of Pottermore all account names were randomly generated. The username on the account was Wildheart plus a couple of numbers.

Her name and cm are based on the wand, laurel wood with unicorn core.

Laurel's cutie mark is a semicircle of laurel leaves around a white paw shaped like a heart. Orginally, it was just going to be the leaves, but the design looked kind of plain. I added the pawprint because it filled the space and it would made sense in the mlp universe that a pet owning pony would have an animal related cm. I also made it heart shaped because of the account name, Wildheart.

The "in Equestria" reason her cm is what it is, is because she is a chanpion at dog competitions. Her talent is training dogs and she is really good at it. So good, that she wins lots of competions. She can't understand them as well as some other animal talents, but she can train them.

Her personality mainly comes from the house traits and the wand traits. So she is incredibly loyal to her friends, hard working, patient, and she has a big heart. She is also honorable, detests laziness, and only a tad competitive.

She has a low magic level, but does have some random spells that she can use because pukwudgies and laurel wandwoid have some unique abilities that I wanted to include. So she can light a small fire and conjure a small lightning shock with magic.

Just to point out, her hair supossed to be similiar to a pukwudgie's spines, which is why its so spiky. Other random facts include growing up in Hollow Shades and Holly Berry is her cousin.

The colors are cranberry and gold because those are the some colors that are asdociated with Ilvermorny. The other color is blue, which as you can see, I used for her mane and tail.
