Crowley grinned. 'Great, thanks!' Pushing Pythia carelessly aside, he made his way through the door. Once he was in, he let himself shift back into his humanoid shape, making a mental note to return to dragon form before the sun came up.
(r.i.p my hand my nana's cat slashed it via using it as a springboard after getting spooked and I'm freezing because my nana told me to run the cut under the cold tap to get it to stop hurting so much)
"Hm...That is kinda weird. Stupid theory, but maybe she's a super secret spy." Keenan laughs lightly. Toby gently rolls the fish towards the box, then looks to Jed to see if he was doing it right.
{As Crowley walked in with Vitis, a familiar voice piped up.}"....Chicken Dinner? Finally embracing your rightful place as a prey item in the food chain, I see." {It was Dianne, sitting in the corner, smoking and drinking tea. On either side, she was flanked by her armored draugrs and the Wolf Knight.}
Crowley slowly let his gaze wander around the room until he spotted Dianne. A nasty smile came over his face, a smile with no real mirth in it. 'Prey item? Did you fall on your head? Who's gonna try eating a dragon?' He grabbed a chair and sat down a good distance from Dianne, folding one leg over the other and tapping his foot idly.
Meanwhile, in Atlas Tower, Anastasia was rounding up groups of Sargon's army into several of the largest offices and examining everyone for signs of Brink's 'mark'. There were at least a thousand members of the army, but that wasn't going to dissuade the witch.
'Hmm... nope... not that one... not you... how many people were supposed to have this mark, again?'
(Well, she could section them by "type", Ryker (and Ruscar, but we're getting to him) being a werewolf, Lila and Nate being psychic/telekinetic, and Mia being an elemental magic user (there's also an idea for a novice necromancer in case Oliver gets to Ruscar first))
{Dianne mirrors Crowley’s grin.} “Why, a bigger dragon, of course.” {Pythia looks nervously between the two and Vitis just stands aside waiting for the fistfight to break out. As Pythia was closing the door, a crow flew in and landed on Dianne’s shoulder.}”Ah, that was quite timely.”
Crowley's nasty smile dropped off his face. 'Huh... you miiiiight be right about that,' he said slowly. Then he abruptly grinned again. 'But big dragons are slow. I'm quick. They'd have to be really lucky to eat me.'
Then he paused as the crow suddenly flapped into the room. He stared at it in bewilderment. 'You've got a pet crow?'
{Meanwhile, Jerry’s been on the phone with his parents for some time now. After finishing, he gives Ivy back her phone, folds his hands, and addresses the pair.} “Ok, so, my parents are going to arrive in Riverside in about a day. Armin, I’m warning you now, they /are/ going to rub you the wrong way, so please don’t try to kill them, ok?”
Ivy took her phone back, wiped the screen on her shirt to make sure it was clean, and stuffed it back into her pocket. 'So, we're going to Riverside?' she asked, sounding excited. 'I've never been there before.'
'Oh, I wouldn't worry,' said Armin absently. 'You know I'm not the type to kill people just like that. Well, unless THEY try to kill ME, of course. Then I'd make an exception.'
{Dianne nods.}”Yes, with the exception of you, I’m quite fond of the species.” {Getting up, Dianne stretches and accepts the piece of paper offered to her by the bird. She then hands the paper to the wolf knight, speaks to it, and watches it run out into the night.}
'When are we heading out?' Armin questioned. 'First thing in the morning?' He thought his leg would be healed enough to walk by then, but couldn't be entirely sure. He needed blood to heal effectively. He'd never fed as often as other vampires, seeing no reason to, but he now realised that he'd probably have to go hunting tonight if he wanted to be recovered in time.
(Got-dangit!) “Well, Pythia, thanks for the tea, but I really must be going.” Pythia:”You’re quite welcome. See you later, I guess.” {Dianne nods and heads out.}
{Jerry nods at Armin.}”Yes. You can stay here if you’d like. Y’know, if you’re still not feeling well by that time. Ivy and I should be able to handle it.”
@Draco Quickly getting the jist, Toby bats it with his paws a couple times before attempting to hit it into the goal. "Who knows? It's definitely interesting to think about."
Crowley made a rude hand gesture at Dianne's back as she left. Then he stretched his legs out more comfortably, yawned, grinned, and looked at Pythia. 'So, are you and that creepy lady friends?'
Armin shrugged. 'I should be fine. And I'd rather not leave my two very human allies to wander away by themselves. You never know what enemies could be lying in wait for you.'
@Draco "Mm...This is makin' me think about my old man and nana, how'd they survive that initial fight. I kinda left them undefended, but I was needed, and they're both shifters, so the guy behind all this won't've hurt them." Toby frowns slightly, then pauses a moment before hitting the fish quickly in an attempt to get it in.
{Pythia sits down and turns to Crowley}”Sort of. We just met today, and she helped me with a disagreement I had with Sargon’s lackeys. So, who’s trying to kill you again?”
@Draco "Eh, they're tough nuts to crack. My dad for coming back from war without an arm and a leg, and my nan for raising both us knuckleheads." Excited at his win, Toby bounces around a little, his tail wagging rather fast.
'Eh, just some freak in a gas mask,' said Crowley, his lip curling with distaste. 'He uses the shadows to hide himself, like a coward. But if I meet him in the daytime... THEN I'll kill him. I'll peel the skin from his bones and burn it over a fire.'
After a quick search of some of Sargon's minions, Ana decided to divide them into groups by their species. It would make the search easier - //And,// she reasoned, //at least SOME of the marked ones we're looking for must be in this army.//
First of all, she gathered all the werewolves up outside Sargon's tower. There were around three hundred, though there were actually more - the others had just been too far away in the city to get there in time.
Ana stood in front of the group. 'If you have a mark belonging to Dark Brink, or think you might, then step forwards in the name of his Lordship Count Sargon!' she yelled.
{Pythia gives a distasteful look to Crowley’s description of revenge.}”Your mother didn’t give you enough attention growing up, did she? And now you do unspeakable things to people as a subconscious cry for attention, even if it’s bad attention.”
@Radiant After some pause, a sickly looking boy emerges from the crowd, one arm over his stomach where bloodstains fresh and new stained his shirt. He kneels before her, brushing back his fringe to reveal the mark on his forehead. "Ryker Oriin, ma'am. I hope to be of service."
(Aaaaand every time I think nobody's here, someone comes back. XD)
Crowley shifted restlessly in his chair. 'Hey, my mother cared for me just fine! And what the hell has my childhood got to do with a guy in a creepy mask trying to kill me? This guy's insane! I bet he'd try to kill YOU if he found you, and this stupid temple wouldn't keep him out.'
Ana gazed down at the boy. 'Ryker, huh? I've never heard of you before... but then, I can't be expected to know everyone in his Lordship's army,' she said carelessly. 'Anyway, I need to take you to Count Sargon. He wishes to... speak... to anyone who carries Brink's mark.'
Without even trying to conceal her grin, she grabbed the boy's arm and started leading him inside the tower and up a flight of stairs.
@Radiant If you leave, do you mind if I do some interactions between Dianne and Oliver so next time I can jump right into the action? Oliver’s only around at night.
(Hey guys, I'm gonna get going now, I don't have a lot to do and I can't stay on the computer much longerrrr-- Aggron, feel free to write a little more stuff if you need to.)

Eyes widening, she jumps back as the orb explodes into toxic gas. The cloud envelops her two draugrs, who are unaffected, given that they don't breathe. However, through the smoke, the sound of metal cutting metal is heard, as Dianne feels those souls return to her. Hey King and Aggron!
What do we need to do today? I gotta check the last RP.
09 Dec, 2017, 7:16 pm
Does somebody else want to start? I think I'm waiting on replies for most of my characters. XD
09 Dec, 2017, 7:23 pm
I'll do it. I got interactions between my characters to set up anyway that can only take place once I reply to y'all. Stand by.
09 Dec, 2017, 7:25 pm
{After hearing Crowley's story, she shakes her head and steps aside.}"Fine. You can stay the night if someone's really after you. Come in."

Crowley grinned. 'Great, thanks!' Pushing Pythia carelessly aside, he made his way through the door. Once he was in, he let himself shift back into his humanoid shape, making a mental note to return to dragon form before the sun came up.
'C'mon, Vitis!' he yelled over his shoulder.

{Jerry nods.}”Yes, that’s our agenda for tomorrow.”
09 Dec, 2017, 8:47 pm
