The trio of friends #Peekatchu, #Charmandah, and #Skwertle have set out on their Halloween hunt, and what a night it was! House after house, they get candy after candy! They get Tacos from Mudkip, and even milkshakes from Riolunator! But the night is still far from being over.

"I'm getting really tired.." Skwertle says, as he sits to rest his tired legs. "Me too.." Peekatchu says as he sits beside him, "We must've visited one hundred houses!" Charmandah seems to be perfectly fine, "We've only just reached the halfway point guys. I'm not tired, I'm wide awake!" "No, it's not that tired, the other one." Peekatchu moans, "I need my energy back." Skwertle tells Peekatchu, "You could eat your own candy you know." Peekatchu is shocked at the suggestion, "No way! We gotta count it at the end! If I eat one now it'll be an inaccurate count." Charmandah then encourages his friends, "Well, Deeno's house is the next stop! So we can take a rest there!" Peekatchu and Skwertle sigh in relief.

"You know, I had completely forgotten about that!" Skwertle says as he stands up. "Me too! But, aren't we on the wrong side of town?" Peekatchu asks. Charmandah knods, "Yes. That's why we have to pass through the forest!" Peekatchu turns his head to look at the foredt, and is instantly struck with fear, "No way!? Are you serious!? Its horrifying!" Charmandah is a bit surprised at Peekatchu's sudden outburst, "You all ready knew we were going to go through here. You remember when I had explained the route to you earlier, right?" Peekatchu hides behind Skwertle, and a chill is sent down Skwertle's spine, "Yeah, of course. But it looks completely different at night. Its really unsettling..." Charmandah himself even seems a bit sheepish, but tries to keep his courage, "Yeah...but, it's the only way we'll make it back in time. If we head back the way we came, all the houses will have shut their lights off. This is the only way..." He then gulps, "I have my tail light anyways.."

The friends enter the forest path, sticking closely together..

Meanwhile, sitting in the woods, the Trevenant meditates. As the frigid airs battle him on the outside, he is silent, as if fighting something else on the inside. *Stay by my side, my love. Never leave me....* *BANG* *No!* *You think you're worth something, but you deserve to suffer, you are not good enough to ever be freed* Its as if the voices and memories of his mind were whispers within the wind. He grunted in pain as evil thoughts pestered him. *A curse* *Pass a curse to another. Let them suffer and yourself be freed* But he tried to resist *No, this is my burden to carry, and defeat.* *But you've suffered long enough haven't you? Why not end it the easy way* *I will not ruin another by my own thoughts* *Embrace the darkness, life is worthless, only you matter* This was not easy for him to handle on his own...it was like a weight placed inside of him, one that burned like a fire.

*I'd rather live a mindless life than one in this suffering* *Than endulge in the darkness, let go of yourself and taste the fruits of chaos, toss your cares and make life for yourself* *AAAAGGHHH*

*WHOOOSH* A powerful gust of wind blasts, "Oh man! That's icy!" Skwertle says. "That ewas almost enough to knock out my tail fire. We really have to watch it here.." As Charmandah and Skwertle press on, Peekatchu can hardly move, stricken with fear. He looks up at the moonlight and shivers as he sees the clouds slowly cover the only source of light, "G-g-g-guys, I can't take being out here! Theres something out here, I know it!" Charmandah looks back at Peekatchu, standing several feet back, "Peekatchu, stop thinking like that. You're making me feel a but creeped out. The faster we go through the quicker its over with, but you need to walk with us." Peekatchu refuses though, "I can't, everything around is just so scary!" Charmandah walks next to Peekatchu and throws his arm around him.

"Its ok. We're here together. I've got an idea! Cover your eyes!" "How will that help?" "Just try it." Peekatchu does so and starts to breathe regularly, "Hey, this is actually kind of helpful. A lot actually!" Just at that moment, something shakes in the bushes, "AAAAAAH! Why didn't you tell me to cover my ears!"

The scream echoed through the forest, even reaching Trevenant, "Agh, what was that!?" His mind slipped and lost his train if thought. The screams of his past echoed in his mind, "This is just too much!!" His heart raced as his stress reached through the roof, when all of a sudden, that suave voice came back into his head, *The darkness...* Was all it said. But those two words struck Trevenant hard. He had felt torment his entire life, and every day it grew worse, and now it had been indeffinitely multiplied. He couldn't take it any more. It felt as if the voice, which was death itself, was the only option *You have been craving death your whole life, now feast at the table*

Trevenant let in all of the evil he had tried to fight off so hard, for he was beaten down. He could feel himself sinking down the pit of evil. The thoughts that had been nagging at him every day, he now answered. And as he slipped in, the dark thoughts quickly began justifying themselves in his mind. This is true evil. *Now, haunt this forest, make it YOURS. You wish to repay this world for what it has done to you. Now do so and gluttonise in your selfness* Within him, was still a silent cry against the evil, but it was easily drowned out by the darkness yelling and shrieking.

As he sat down to catch his breath, a faint, orange light could be seen through the foilage, a distance away. He began to ponder his first action. He wanted to know if this would truly be all it was cracked up to be. Reluctantly, he stood. It was time to find out.

As the moon was fully covered with clouds, the wind had gone dead silent.

Skwertle was a lot further ahead then Charmandah and Peekatchu. He had made it all of the way out of the forest, to where Dartrix had his tent set up. "Made it first! Ha ha!" He turned around, but to his surprise, there was no sign of Peekatchu and Charmandah. "Hm.." He thought, "I thought they were behind me...I guess I shouldn't have ran ahead...." The Dartrix noticed Skwertle's voice and called out to him, "Oh, yoohoo! Are you not friends with the Pikachu boy?" Skwertle jumped a bit hearing a random voice, but relaxed at the sight of a familar face, "Um, yeah. We were supposed to be running through the forest, but, he seems to be behind..." "Well, You can sit up here with me if you'd like while we wait." Dartrix suggests. Skwertle is a bit worried about his friends, but he was too tired to run back. He shrugged off his worry, "Look, theres nothing scary in here. They'll be here any minute..."

Charmandah helps Peekatchu make it through, slowly walking with him.

"Are you still OK?" Charmandah asks Peekatchu, "Um..no." Charmandah sighs, kind of annoyed that he has to deal with his friends uncomfortability, (Isn't he old enough NOT to be afraid of the dark?) He asks himself. Charmandah tries to not judge his fears, however, he is incredibly curious of this strange behavior, "Peekatchu, what is it that's got you so creeped out anyways? I've never seen you this, disturbed. Is something bugging you?" Peekatchu is silent for a bit, but tries to explain his emotions, "I really feel like theres some bad guy here or something...I know you think it's stupid...but, I feel it.." Charmandah doesn't respond.

"Charmandah?"

A purple light glows. behind them. A Powerful ghost type attack!

"Boo."

That is the end of this fourth part! Jeepers! This end is freaky! I hope I didn't get too carried away with the Trevenant text. Sometimes I type a little too much as I try to explain what I'm trying to convey. But that stuff is really deep in actuallity. Well, I hope you guys are enjoying this so far. Hold on to your seat!

I liked the Trevenant section, it was spooky and interesting. Good story, can't wait for the next part...

I enjoy these so much! I really do hope you get a career with doing comics or something! You're writing is so comforting! I always feel at home with it! Although, I must say the Trevenant part was hair tingling! Well put! Well put indeed! xD
