Please Like and comment! Is this the cutest stormtrooper you've ever seen or what? n_n I've been wanting to draw this for a long time...it isn't perfect, but it's pretty good, considering that it's honest art. I'm proud to say that none of my paintings are traced! n_n (Man, the helmet was SO hard to draw) This is my OC, so... NO COPYCATS! XP
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

cute drawing and outfit! ^-^ but her comes the serious question. Can they hit they're target?

Operation_66:Star_Wars_Nerd_Mode_Initiated. *Inhales* They could be good shots depending who was the clone host and how they were trained. The Empire stopped using Jango's template when Kamino tried to revolt against them, causing the Empire to use different clone templates who didn't have experience with warfare. Which is why they suck in IV-VI, 'cause they weren't Jango. XD

Exactly! XD

that's all that matters. she's cute. why else do you think male stormtroppers hide they're faces?
14 Aug, 2012, 1:57 am
Whoever: YES. EU explains a ton of stuff. Although, some of Jango's clones were still active Storm Troopers during the original triology, the majority were working under Darth Vader. XD

Whatever! She's cute..! XD

The correct term is fan character, because this is based on a pre-existing franchise. An original character would be a character of your own creation in your own universe/story. Just spreading the word.

^(Jest reading this comment coincidentially on web-browser) not nescessarily true... Many people on deviantart go by this definition but the term OC is generally more often used to refer to your own creations inside an existing universe...

A bunch of people saying something doesn't make it true. I know hundreds of people who spell a lot 'alot', doesn't make it a word. The term is Fan Character, this his how we distinguish characters existing in a separate, original universe from a per-existing franchise.
12 Oct, 2012, 5:57 pm
Distinguishing the two terms is only important on art websites (like this, I have to admit), where poeple who draw original creations in original universes like to distinguish themselves from fanfic writers because everything would be thrown into one pot otherwise. The term OC is just generally often in use, TvTropes definition of an OC is exactly this type of a fan-character, and Sonic-OCs have become quite (in)famous with that name along with thier memetic, and often mockingly used phrase "Original Character: Do not steal!" Your very own characters could just be called... characters because they are exactly that. You also wouldn't say that Mario is Shigeru Miyamoto's OC....

Though I love TvTropes, I think the common terminology surrounding the OC term, particularly in the sonicverse is a hundred percent mocking in nature. In the end, though, gnacking on someone like this young lady for using the term OC just feels right for me. With the current state of media and entertainment, we do have to distinguish with a level of logic and such. Above all, Mario is what people call in the business an IP or franchise. I can exemplify this logic for hours, but honestly, I felt like enlightening this sweet young lady (Despite her unbridled hatred for my art; but hey, haters gonna hate) by informing her to the true difference in termonology.

Yeah... Let's not go into lenghts with this. I'm happy already if people know the difference between OC's and Personas (Note: every Persona is an OC or a fan character but not every OC is a Persona)

Now that we've both walled texted the hell out of this poor girls drawing, I feel as though my work is done. *Flies away with big bright red cape.*
