Skwertle and Peekatchu exit the Park and reenter the neighborhood, continuing Charmandah's mapmaking as they go along, "There!" Skwertle marks off the park, "Done with the park!" "So...Now what?" Peekatchu asks, "Do we make our way straight back to Charmandah's house? Or do we have to go mark another place on the map?" Skwertle pauses and ponders Peekatchu's thought, "Huh, um. He didn't mention anything else." Peekatchu continues with his train of thought as he grins brightly, "There's still a bit of a ways left to Charmandah's house. I'd think if we'll be out the whole night, we'd want to get some snacks somewhere!" Skwertle's stomach growls, "I think we could use some snacks now. I just realized that I forgot breakfast." Peekatchu runs ahead, "Let's do it then!" Skwertle stops him, "Hey, hold it, where are we gonna go? There's no resteraunts that aren't out of the way." Peekatchu tells Skwertle, "Well, Deeno lives nearby this area, we could ask her for snacks!"

Skwertle agrees reluctantly, "Well, I guess we can do that. But if she's trick-or-treating today that won't work." Peekatchu tells Skwertle, "Well, she can come with us so when we come back we can visit her house for snacks!" "Well, ok. Charmandah certainly won't mind if she comes along." "Off to it then!"

The duo head on over to Deeno's house nearby and knock on the door. KNOCK KNOCK. The door slowly creaks open, "Hi guys..ACHOO!" Deeno is at the door, with a blanket wrapped around her and looking a bit ill. Peekatchu seems a bit worried about her, "Deeno, are you all right?" She pulls a tissue from her little tissue box and blows her nose, "No, I'm not.,I got a fever." Skwertle sighs, "On Halloween? That bites. Uh, we were going to ask if you wanted to come trick-or-treating with us..." Deeno sneezes and rubs her nose, "I'm sorry, but, I can't go out tonight. I'm stuck here." Peekatchu is upset, "I'm so sorry Deeno, that is terrible...Missing Halloween..."

"Um, we also wanted to know if during our trip, we could drop by your house and get some snacks so we don't get too tired." Deeno seems very happy about that idea, "Yeah. That's a nice idea!" Skwertle, a bit worried, tells her, "We don't want to keep you up though if you're not feeling well! We'll be out late and you might need yoyr rest." Deeno smiles and calms Skwertle, "It's ok Skwertle. I don't want to miss out on the night even if I can't tricker treat! At least this way I won't totally miss out. And you guys can tell me how it went!" Skwertle blushes, "Thanks Deeno, we really appreciate it." Deeno sneezes again, but smiles, "I'm always happy to help! Do you guys want some snacks right now?" Skwertle's tummy rumbles again, "Sure. That'd be good." "Please get pancakes!" Peekatchu requests. Deeno giggles at Peekatchu's silliness, "Ok, I'll go and get you some." She begins to walk away as Skwertle interrupts her, "Wait, but you're sick. Can't your parents get them?"

"We don't want you to do anything you aren't up to." Deeno tells Skwertle, "It's fine Skwertle! Gees you worry a lot. I'm not totally incapasitated. My parents are gone anyways..they both work all day. Even on a Holiday..."

Deeno goes to grab them some little snacks, and they all enjoy the treats together. Then, they make their way back to Charmandah's house. "We've got the park, and Deeno's house marked, I think this'll do for our trip tonight!" Peekatchu jumps for joy, "This is going to be the most amazing Halloween yet!"
It's around 3:OO PM. The duo return to Charmandah's house to hand back the completed map, as the sun begins to set. KNOCK KNOCK. Charmelein answers the door, "MAIL! .... Darn it! Ugh, stop knocking on the door unless my package is here! You're messing with my emotions." "We're just here to see Charmandah!" "Sigh, in his room, preparing his costume, just go on in." Skwertle and Peekatchu walk on in and make way for Charmandah's room.

Skwertle and Peekatchu walk into Charmandah's room, "Hey, we're done!" They look at Charmandah and stop with shock at what they see, "TADA! Neat costume, huh?" Charmandah is dressed up as a Charizard, with a little cap on his head and cardboard wings.
"Uhhh..."
"Ehhhh..."
"That's...pretty bad Charmandah."
Charmandah is annoyed, "Yeah, I know. I just had to pull something together quick, I didn't prepare." Charmelein peaks his head out from the door frame quickly, "It was my idea!" And then pulls back. Charmandah sighs, "I don't know if he's legitimately trying or just trying to make me look dum.b, but it's better than nothing." Skwertle sighs with relief in his mind, (Well, at least I wasn't the only one cutting it close) Trying to divert attention from his subpar costume, Charmandah asks them about the map, "So, Do you guys have the map all finished?" "YUP!" Peekatchu loudly exclaims. "Yeah, we do.." Skwertle hands Charmandah the map, "Ah, heere we are, now let's go over the plan!"

Charmandah then outlines and explains their Trick-or-Treating strategy, and goes over the best routes and candy stops with them. Time then passes to around 6:OO PM. The sun is gone and the holiday night officially begins! Skwertle returns to Charmandah's house after getting his costume and official Latte'os pattented candy carrying bag.

"Hey Charmandah! Uh, you seem a bit annoyed..." Charmandah looks at him and scolds,
"Yeah, you're late!"
"Only by a couple of minutes."
"Yeah, but a couple of minutes could make a WORLD of difference! What if all the good houses run out of candy and the plan gets ruined!? The whole night could becone a huge bust all over something simple an unneccessary."
"Um, I think your worrying is a bit unnessecary. And Uh, where's Peekatchu?"
"MISSING. You tell me my worrying is unwarrented when we could be waiting another whole 15 minutes!?!"
"Geez, ok..."

About four minutes of sitting and Charmandah panicking, Peekatchu finally arrives, "Hello!"

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?" Charmandah yells. "Eek! No need to yell!" Peekatchu exclaims. Charmandah then appologizes, "I'm sorry, I just get REALLY frustrated when my plans get delayed. Which seems to happen a lot (And it's never really MY fault, either)" Peekatchu informs his friends, "Well, I made sure to eat lots and LOTS of pancakes to stay full for the night! And uh, I ended up needing a to use the bathroom afterwards." Charmandah shrugs and gets back on track, "Well, now that we're all here, lets head out that way and make up for our lost time!" "HOORAY!" Everyone says, and gleefully run over to the first house to start their trick-or-treating!

The stars shine brightly on the town, and Dartrix heads out of his tent, "The stars are so clear here away from lights, I couldn't ask for a clearer night for research! Now to begin star charting!" He pulls out his notebook and begins marking the stars.
