This is beautiful art! I particularly like the attention you gave to the shadows around the eyes (very careful work there), and the face profile.
Nice color palette, too! It reminds me of fire light.
Off-topic, I hope your classes are going quite well! I take it you'll get a Christmas break - be sure to share it with family and friends!
