Did I ever mention Jason was a bit unlucky in the first months of his life? No? K.
His mom died only 5 months after he was born, which caused his dad to move to Tokyo (and Jason still doesn't know he's there). Before he left, Jason was handed over to his Uncle Aaron and Aunt Erica, and coincidentally right on Jason's 2nd birthday, his cousin Zach was born. Jason still lives with his aunt, uncle, and cousin today.

Forgot 1 more detail!
He didn't know his aunt and uncle weren't his biological parents until he was 13. Jason doesn't even know what his dad looks like! His aunt and uncle are planning on telling Jason his dad is in Tokyo when he turns 18. His dad is even prepared to take Jason in for a while in Tokyo when he goes to visit! And as soon as Jason leaves, he's planning on getting his visa to come back to America and go back to living in his home in Oregon.
