The moose are nowhere in sight. The dragon did not go unhurt, a huge gash ran down its back.

It hears a huge roar above it.

Dralius scowled. "I need proof that you are corrupted you lair!" She snapped at him and coiled around him, a portal appeared and a large barinx came out of it in the middle of them. "Kill it without injury. Then I will believe you." She hissed.

She nodded acting as if she believed him, slowly turning her head away. "Ahhhh I see..." She then got right up in his face and roared. "THEN DO IT" She sliced a bit of his back with her stinger. A growl and hiss escaped her throat.

Dralius watched in awe for a moment but shook her head a little. "Well then. I brought you here for nothing." She uncoiled and went back to her throne then soon dozed off. Leaving him there, no portals for him to escape.

Though her face was hidden, she grinned under her long coil as she awoke. "Nah sorry bud. However I will take you to your new home soon enough. Just let me find a nice spot to put you hehehe" she was looking at a portal in the coil.

(Oooooooooh boy....) Apnaeh sat silently for a while but finally broke the silence. "So... Are we stuck in here till this long blizzard is over?.." He asked, sightly concerned. Booper tilted her head at him then looked to Giranja hoping for her to answer that, she was wondering the same thing.

After several minutes of trekking up the mountainside, Coldfire emerged at the top. Before him stretched a stony plateau with a large, arcing stone gate in the center. //The portal..// The shifter approached slowly, awed by the strange presence it emitted. He reached out and touched the stone frame, running his fingers over the mysterious etchings in the rock.
Then he stepped back. //Now, to activate it.// He waved a hand where the portal would typically appear, but nothing happened. He circled it in search of some sort of switch. //That woman must have known that it would require magic.//
Coldfire knew he had lost his magical abilities along with his arm, but he had to try summoning it anyways. With one finger, he traced symbols on the stone frame, the word "Activate" ringing in his head, then stepped back. Nothing happened. He tried it twice more and a variety of similar phrases, but to no avail. Growing frustrated, the shifter kicked the portal. "What a joke."
Coldfire backed away, then began to shout various commands. "Activate! Open! Wake up!"
Finally fed up, the shifter stalked away until he found himself at the edge of a cliff, overlooking Sylyore. //It's pointless...//

She raised her head and closed the portal. "You cannot "command" ME" She slowly approached her, rage building slightly. "I AM DRALIUS THE MOST FEARED DRAGON IN THIS WHOLE GALAXY! YOU MAY HAVE YOUR LITTLE PLAGUE BUT MY ABILITIES ARE LIMITLESS!!!" She yelled, roaring louder than before, making the fortress shake and even slight earth quakes started up miles away in the void. "Now, would you rather stay here forever? Or go to the special place here I have found for you on Sylyore and be able to eat, torture and kill all you want?" She scowled, her shadowy body was slightly unstable from her rage.

Coldfire whipped around when he heard the voice address him. "You again," he hissed. He turned away. "I don't care anymore. Living for myself has gotten me nowhere."

Ziriel perked her ears as she heard someone apporach. They then shot back and her teeth showed as she growled at the odd strangers. She immediately didn't like them. The little hybrid shifted to her Alhherritin form, the virus flowing out. Apnaeh looked at them and tilted his head at Ziriel then back at them. (If i messed up the wording sorreh im a littttlle tired.)

Coldfire turned to gape at the portal. "How did you...?"

She scowled, not speaking then looked away. "No matter what you can do I don't care. you DO NOT command ME." She whipped her tail back in forth, her top wings twitching in anger. She wanted ( to at least try) to rip his wings off and drop him into the pit where she used her portal.

The ice shifter slowly approached the portal and stared into the swirling purple essence. //Is this really happening...?//

Apnaeh scowled, his eyes slit when he was addressed. He didn't speak but made a low growl. //Hey busy buzzy bee!!! Get your gight butt over here and control me so these idiots don't kill us!// he thought towards his krege. Ziriel made a louder hiss, her tail was raised as if she was a scorpion. She was ready to stab someone she was so protective over her mother. Her virus dripped onto the table and when she hissed, a little flew towards the intruders, barely missing them.

With an unsteady nod to Shadow, Coldfire stepped forward until he was a mere meter from the magenta portal. His heart was pounding as he watched it. //This is it. When I step through this, everything that happened here will be forgotten, left behind in the past.//
But when he told himself to enter, his feet didn't move. He couldn't move them. There was a memory in his head, drawing him so forcefully that he couldn't bring himself to do it. Her image wouldn't leave him. Expression torn, he stepped back and looked away.

"Nothing, I just..." Coldfire dragged a frustrated hand over his face. "I can't do it. I just... can't."

Ziriel charged at Prometheus and bit his arm, the virus went into him and caused immediate pain in the spot she bit. she let go and hissed at him again. "LEAVE HER ALONE!" Her resin started flailing and becoming unstable, gripping to walls and the ceiling.

Apnaeh rolled his eyes at Zertri. //same difference...// "Hey like it was our choice to come to this island!!! Something is bringing us all here. I know it!" He said, confident of his assumsion. "If you were stranded on a strange place and knew you wouldn't be able to return, You'd break old rules too! How would you have jurisdiction over her now that we are so far from out home."

Ziriel stared at the Krege possessed Zilariun "ummm... What?.." Apnaeh charged for Prometheus, he stabbed his stingers into his side and lifted him up, hovering then spun him a few times and finally threw him into Persphone. He landed to the ground and stared, breathing heavily and angrily. He glared at them with full on rage.

Ziriel followed, resin touched Gira but Ziriel immediately sucked it back in and stopped the flow of her virus. Apnaeh buzzed up into the air and looked up, he flew out throught the roof, breaking it and nearly making the building collapse. Ziriel nodded, keeping up with her. "Mom?... Need me to seal the wound so you don't bleed out?" She tilted her head, worried for her adoptive mother.

She scowled, her rage ready to burst. After a few seconds of her scowling, she finally burst. The large drwgoness charged at him and knocked him over, bnrewthing corrupted fire on him and scratching his wing, the odd acidic liquid filled the muscle of his wing and swelled up. She roared, rearing her head up.

"I..." Coldfire turned and eyed the portal again, a struggle evident in his gaze. "Just... give me a moment." The shifter wandered back over to the cliff and he stared at the moonlit landscape. //Something's wrong... I feel something calling me, but I don't know what to do about it.//

"Okay!" Ziriel responded, doubtfully disagreeing in her head. //The river is frozen... She wont be okay...//

Coldfire tightened his hand into a fist, still facing the scenery. "Shadow... What is it like to love someone?"

"Is that why it hurts so much?" the ice shifter murmured, gripping his chest with his hand. "Because I'm not doing what love demands?"

Ziriel looked down. "Y-yeah... The lake and river is frozen mom..."

Coldfire went silent as he processed her words. "Then I'm staying here," he resolved quietly. He looked to the shadowy figure. "Thank you for your help."

(Are the Hjino guys gone? Because those two are chatting too casually to be in the middle of a battle)

She tilted her head. "Okay.. If you're sure... I could even just heal you I realized..." She suggested, still concerned.

The shifter shook his head slowly. "I don't know where she is. Besides... I don't think approaching her boldly is the best move." //Is she still mad at me? For leaving her?... For hurting her?//

She screeched, her blood seeped form her wounds and she pushed him off, slithering into the corner, staring with red furious eyes. "I hate you..." She said with her echoing voice. It came from all directions. She turned to her rage form just in case he was going to go for it again. She was completely shadows with a set of eyes and a mouth. She grew in size, towering over him but cowering in the corner.

Ziriel shrugged. "Its not really magic... But okay."

Coldfire meditated a moment, a frown creasing his face, before looking up and giving the shadow a faint but determined nod.

Being in the darkness, her wounds healed, she shifted back and slowly made her way back to her throne. She watched him causiously and layed down into her throne. //Stupid corrupted beast..//

Coldfire gave another nod and concentrated on the image in his head of his former love. His heart ached as memories rushed back to him - her voice, her scent, her delicate face, her selfless kindness...

Soon after they both were asleep, a glow creaked through the cracks of the fortress, the light turned to a large burst creating a whole on the large wall. A large SunFury with frills leading all the way down his head and a large sun brighter than day's at the end of his tail had bursted through the wall, waking Dralius up. She scowled. "YOU! HOW ARE YOU ALIVE!??!" She roared. SunSpark grinned, "You forget how this place works don't you?" A large Corrupted Rii poked her head through, scowling at Dralius and Sephtus.

Ziriel followed her happily. "I know, I just care for you. You're my only family."

Coldfire scrutinized the image in the portal mistrustfully. Finally, he stepped up to it. But before he went through, he turned to the shadowy figure and said, "Thank you... for your help."
Then, with a farewell dip of his head, he stepped into the portal. A swirling sensation seized him, but just as quickly as it came, it disappeared. He was standing in on open field which was being whipped with a snowy blizzard. Fortunately for him, his species was immune to the cold, and he welcomed it. However, it was a challenge to see what was around him. //Where is she?// Coldfire mused, turning around in search of Giranja.

Dralius looked at him unamused. Not in the mood to fight she simply asked, sighing, "I assume you want to go home?... You and your little traitor buddy?" SunSpakr nodded, growling at Sephtis and her. "Fine." She made a portal leading near where gira and zirie were. "Go, i don't care rn..." She put her head back down. SunSpark walked up to tue portal and tilted his head, not trusting her at first. But he jumped in, eager to see his daughter again overtaking his concern. The rii followed and the portal appeared by Giranja and Ziriel. It was black and ominois but started glwoing and formed into a ball of light, throwing the free Rii and him out onto the snow.

Finding disinterest in the plane, bike, and figures nearby, Coldfire headed in a different direction, squinting to better see through the blizzard.

SunSpark peered around. The Rii friend thanked him then flew off. He sniffed the air, smelling a fellow sunfury. He lifted his glowing tail into the air and let out a large roar to get their attention. Ziriel immediately froze and turned towards the roar. "Oh my- is that???" She roared in response and SunSpark came up to them. Ziriel's eyes widened. "IT IS!!!! YOUR ALIVE!!!! KING OF SUNFURYS!!!" She immediately bowed but still jumped in joy.

"My enemies... But eh- you injured me so i don't want to even try to fight them right now.." She dozed off again.

(Uhhh maybe we can split up the group, since Ziriel's interacting with SunSpark and Fire's two characters are probably heading to speak with Gira?)

(Sunspark will leave soon, i just think since Ziriel is so obsessed witht he royal family of sunfurys she'd be best for him to go to)

SunSpark watched Giranja and the others. "A lot has changed... Tell me little one, have you seen Day?" She shook her head no. "No... But maybe she is in the kingdom? Anyways I'm gonna go follow her. She's my mom." She padded back over to gira and looked in concern at the others around them. SunSpark looked up and flew off just like that, he roared, joyful of flying in his home again. (There ya go. Oh and once everything is less complex, we need him to go to novalay x3)

Coldfire wandered blindly through the blizzard until his boot struck pebbles, sending them scattering onto the frozen surface of a river. He suppressed a sigh. //Did she trick me and send me to the wrong place? ...Or did I do something wrong during the warping process? But I'm sure I was thinking about Giranja when Shadow told me to...// His amethyst eyes flickered. //...Unless I thought about -her- instead. They're so similar in so many ways... Did I seriously allow her back into my mind, at the worst time possible?//

"Leave her alone," he said firmly, voice coming from behind Giranja.

Ziriel scowled in protectiveness at the others.

"ColdFire!!!" Ziriel yelled she ran up to hug him and held his leg, her tail wagging. //I knew you'd come back. You two are too good for eachother to be apart for long.// she thought happily.

"Did you not hear what she said?" Coldfire marched forward until he was front of Giranja, staring at the pilot with a challenge in his eyes. "She doesn't want your help. So back off."
He hardly flinched when Ziriel hugged his leg, forcing his eyes to stay focused on the matter.

Coldfire kept a straight face, but the evil look which flashed in the blonde's eyes was admittedly unnerving. He held his ground until the duo had left.
Frame stiff, his amethyst gaze flickered down to the little Sunfury, subtle but stern. "Ziriel... Let go."

Ziriel let go nodding. "S-Sorry." She sat beside him and watched the two dragons.

"We dont know everything about your species though, but this book contains enough to know about many creatures to animals of Sylyrore. Including," Star booped her Tsunami's snoot. "You!" Tsunami giggled. "otay!"

It took all of Coldfire's self-control to not tear his gaze away when Giranja met his. He knew he needed to get it out, and this was the moment. "...I knew.... that I was wrong. Giranja, I did things I never should've done, and i said things that should never have come from my mouth." He dropped his gaze. "I am the worst person in existence for harming you. I know, I don't deserve your forgiveness, but..." He forced his agonized eyes to meet hers. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry for what I did."

(Psst he didn't even move. Do you mind if Spec and I finish this little moment? We've been waiting for this for weeks)

Unable to hold back any longer, Coldfire stepped forward and pulled Giranja into a tight embrace. He squeezed his eyes shut and inhaled the scent he had longed for ever since he left. "I missed you," he whispered.

//Gee it still looks rough out there.// Splash thought to herself. //I really want her to see snow in person.//

Coldfire gritted his teeth in a mixture of a smile and expression of pain, although not a physical one. His heart threatened to leap from his chest. //For a moment, i thought I'd never see her again. What was I thinking?//
The prince pulled back and met Giranja's gaze. Then, cupping her cheek in his hand, he leaned in and gave her a slow, passionate kiss.

Coldfire couldn't help but smile when she spoke. "You never told me you had an accent," he teased. He stroked her head behind her ear, then widened his eyes. "Your skin is so cold-- You must be freezing!" He pulled her closer and rubbed her back with his hand to warm her up, unknowingly pressing against her wound.

His eyes widened from Giranja's pained moan. "What? Are you hurt??" Coldfire staggered back quickly, foot hitting the medical bag and knocking it down when he did. He stared down at it, then look at his now bloodied hand. //No wonder they were trying to give her this.//
Without caution, he picked up the bag, then gave Giranja a careful nudge. "Come on - we need to get you inside. You're hurt."

Booper stood up and nuzzled Gira's leg to comfort her.

Coldfire beckoned Ziriel to follow with his head, then hustled Giranja toward the nearby village lights. "What happened?" he asked her, concern think in his voice. Distracted by his love's condition, he completely forgot about the two strangers who were conversing nearby.

"*yawn*" "Someone sounds tired." Asked Star. Tsunami smiled at her father then layed against the window and soon fell asleep. "Awww, youre just like me. Getting sleepy over everything." StarStruck and Splash yawned as well. "Why don't we take a family nap?" Splash suggested, as the walked upstairs. "That's a good idea." They all lay on a bed as they slept together, peacfully.

Coldfire stopped when she grabbed his shoulder. //Dangerous...?// He understood as she explained her story. Guilt raked through his gut. //This wouldn't have happened if she had somebody to protect her...// "We won't go that way then. Let's find another place to stay," he said softly.
That other place happened to be a dim cave which they came across after a bit of walking. It hardly passed as shelter, but at least it kept out the snow and wind. Coldfire walked Giranja into the cave and had her sit on a rock while he found a couple sticks to start a fire. "I'll help you dress that wound," he offered as he began to strike a bit of flint against one stick.

"Not like it's gonna kill me." A spark finally flickered to life, and Coldfire picked up the stick and brought to the rest of the wood, creating a fire near Giranja just strong enough to warm her and give light to see. He watched Giranja a moment, searching her face to see how she was doing, then knelt by the medical kit and opened it.

(Oh wait isn't it supped to be flint and steel? Ah well, whether works)

From the kit, Coldfire retrieved bandages, [the stuff you put on wounds that I can't remember the name of], and a rag, then carried them over to Giranja. "Do you trust me to help you?" Coldfire asked, just in case.

(Oh whoops they actually entered the cave, didn't they?)

With an awkward nod, Coldfire went around behind Giranja and set the materials down. Gingerly and cautiously, he rolled up her shirt until he could see the injury. "I'll try to be careful..." He then took the rag [wetted it with snow or something] and began to dab at her wound. He hadn't noticed the two women coming down the cave yet

(Expect more; I'm pretty tired and I just had sugar. XD)
