Saya's mother was forced to give birth to her under the bloodmoon and shortly after birthing her passed away, like most do birthing under the bloodmoon.

One of the Vaseterm's who forced her mother to give birth under this moon, felt guilty, so she raised Saya. Being under the bloodmoon, the Vaseterm who raised her, didn't live very long, but she taught Saya all she could about Soledormir and why she born the way she was, who she was.

So Saya spends her time as a loner, she's encountered other red demons, but always steered clear of them. She spends much of her time attacking Nightmares, Reapers, really anything connected to Soledormir....aaand she's also attacked Vaseterm before and killed them.
