Ice Sorceress was a kind and normal working reploid. But when she saw a model superstar, she wanted to BE one. Taking it so far, she lost her job just to be one. Now, she hunts Zira down to make her the most "beautiful princess around".

Mission debrief
Zira: Alright Layer. What's going on now?
Layer: We've gotten a sudden crystal cave forming. It's small, but I feel that it will be a huge nuisance in the future.
Zira: Could we be facing off with a self-proclaimed diva?
Layer: I did forget to mention that we have crystalized reploids coming out every minute or so.
Zira: I know who we're dealing with.
