As fall began to pack its bags and leave, winter abruptly took its spot. Asher was walking through the street, watching as snow began to pile up on the ground.
By the time he made it to the cafe, there was already at least three inches of snow coating the pavement. The weather was becoming harsher by the second as the temperature dropped and the snow fell harder.
Asher sat down at a table and ordered a large peppermint hot chocolate with blueberry pound cake. While he waited for his meal, he began playing crossword puzzles in a small notepad.

(Sorry xD I started typing and didn’t double check to see if you had said anything else)

Asher lifted his head up as the door opened. For once, he was wearing something that was not a suit, which made him feel uncomfortable since he wanted to look professional in front of Sirits. He sat up straighter to help this personal situation, but he still felt he looked too casual in his lightweight jacket and t-shirt.

Nimue sat on top of a trash can, not too far in front of Amittai. She waved her tail around and brushed through her hair with her fingers. She lifted her head when she heard footsteps, assuming it would be her dinner for the night. Once she saw the glowing tail, however, she realized that it was another Niironox!

(So Nimue and Amittai know each other?)

Asher waved back. “Are you alright, Sirius? You should check the weather before going out, next time.” He smirked.

Nimue hopped off of the trash can and began to approach him. “Amittai?” She asked, a smile spreading across her face.

Asher looked mildly uncomfortable, and picked up a slice of the pound cake that had arrived a few moments after Sirius sat down. “The animals in my backyard began hiding, so I knew it was going to be bad,” he stopped, then added, “I heard that the pet stores are sold out of dragons because people all went to buy some this morning to help heat their homes.” Asher then took a large bite of the miniature slice, before taking a sip of the cock.

“Hello, Amittai~!” Nimue purred. “You look so cute tonight!” She said playfully as she approached him, she wrapped his tail around her hand and grinned at him.

(Sorry for the delay, I had to make sure my guinea pigs had food and water)

“They assume dragons are like dogs, but dragons are untrainable after a certain point. The ones in stores are especially stupid and inbred, so they’re going to piss all over the place and bite the children.” He looked at Sirius. “Haha, sorry. Some dragons are close cousins to snakes, so I feel bad when humans screw dragons up to the point that a pug has more capabilies than them.”

“I was watching people. I’m very hungry, but sadly, there are no cute boys out here.” She laughed a little, “Except for you.” It was unclear whether Nimue was teasing him or not.

“The only acceptable difference to animals is when they become prettier. Like how rabbits in the wild are brown, but tamed, they’re all sorts of colors.” He smiled then passed his drink over to Sirius. “Would you like some of my hot chocolate? If you’re concerned about sharing a drink with me, you can just take the lid off and drink from the side.”

“Always. People are so ugly, so because I can never find anyone tasty enough, I just sit here and starve. I like regular foods as well, but there’s something much more thrilling about knowing that I can get in trouble.” She gently rubbed her hand down his horn.

“Alright.” Asher smiled and circled a few words in the word search. “Patty left for a few days to go visit her friend overseas. I wonder how she is doing.”

“Oh, really?” Her eyes lit up. “Amittai, you’re always so nice to me!” She may be a very hands-on person, but she waited politely for him to get the snacks out.

“I’m afraid that she will bring home a boyfriend or girlfriend. She cannot be in love with me, then decide to flirt with everyone. It makes no sense.” He looked at Sirius. “Maybe that is just how love is... Have you ever fallen in love?”

Nimue picked out one of the granola bars and opened it. She ate quietly and slowly, and when she finished, she dipped her head. “Thank you.”

“I don’t think I have ever felt love. I’ve felt lust for multiple people, but romantic love is one thing I have yet to experience.” He flattened his expression. “I did not mean to bring up such a strange conversation.”

“Do you like to travel, or do you do it to get away from things?” She tilted her head a little. “Maybe I can come along with you? I’m relatively good at hunting.”

“It only makes me feel insecure that I do not know that emotion. I have experienced everything; happiness, sadness, pain, pleasure, and everything else both good and bad! However, the only thing that I am lacking is the sickening romantic love in a couple.” He looked angry, but then frowned. “I do not like it when I cannot understand something.”

“Of course I’d like to come with you!” She rolled her eyes and smiled. “You’re my friend! Besides, I’m a pain in the ass to you, so I might make up for my actions bystander least giving you someone to talk to.”

(I rewrote Asher’s response 10 times and I’m still not happy with it xD)

“If you would like me to take you home, I will.” He looked at Sirius and smiled softly.

“You should always use some company. Being a loner isn’t good for a runt like you.” She said, rather rudely. “But you’re so cute that I doubt anyone would ever hurt you.”

“Of course I will walk with you.” He placed his money on the table and zipped up his jacket. “Let’s go.”

“If you were a warrior, you’d be so boring. I like you how you are; small and cute.” Nimue smiled at him.

(Alright!)

Asher instinctively wrapped his arm around Sirius, trying to keep his friend warm. “I’m afraid the storm might be too heavy. Are you sure you’ll be okay at your home?” He asked, insinuating that he’d feel better if Sirius slept as his house.

“Then you should act fierce and threatening.” She smiled and flicked her tail around. “Don’t let others boss you around.”

“If the heating is bad, would you prefer to sleep in our house?” He asked, this time more confidently. “I wouldn’t want you to be cold. My friends are my top priority.”

“Children can be scary and dominating. It’ll throw people off if you do something like that.” She pet his head, gently. “Personally, I think you want to be something you’re not. You’re like a puppy or a kitten, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Even still, you try to be mean and scary, but you were so cool with giving me a snack.”

(Wait I just kinda let Nimue ramble without refining her statements xD

She’s comparing him to a puppy, then saying that he’s trying to contradict his personality by acting mean, but if she asks him for anything, he’ll give it to her)

“Anytime. Is there anything you need to grab from your home, or should we just head straight to my house?” Asher smiled softly. “We can make popcorn and watch movies on the television~”

“You shouldn’t hate your sister so much.” She tilted her head. “I dislike Alphas, but she’s your sister. You two share the same blood. You can’t hate her.”

“That’s good.” Asher looked delighted. “What kind of popcorn would you like?”

“Cutie~” She followed after him. “Then Just avoid her, but you still don’t need to hate her.” Nimue said, calmly.
