This guy is way cool I love him so much! That tail is sweet! What was your inspiration to create this kind of character? What is your favorite part of him? Can he fly with those wings?

He's large enough to swallow humans whole, which he often does. If he hears someone coming, Vol will open up another path above them and hide there, dangling the end of his tail over the edge like a welcoming lantern, then lunge down and eat the unsuspecting heroes as they appear. If they outwit him (or he gets too impatient), he'll come down and search for them, holding his tail above him like a scorpion to illuminate the area. Voldunaasl's breath is also poisonous.

He's now my only dragon OC with five digits on his paws, front and back feet. The inside of his mouth and his tongue are black. The purple area in his chest glows faintly in the dark.

Would you be interested to do an art trade? My style is simpler than yours (you see, I spend a lot of time animating which often requires simple drawings, so I am best practiced at the simpler things ( ' u ' ) I also don't have a ton of time...) But like, an art trade could be fun! But I'm so slow and I'd like for us to post on the same day, so if we do, would you time it with my post so we can have a big reveal on the same day? :D

Re: there are a bunch of free and open-source drawing programs out there! I've used Gimp and I've heard of a few others. But that's all sort of useless without a tablet. But... Look up "Drawing Tablet" on Amazon, I saw a beginners kit for $30 and just the tablet for $20 and let me tell you that is worth the price! I have a Wacom but that was $200 (it has constant support and other things with the tablet) but being able to draw on a tablet is worth it! The cheapest screen tablet that works well is around $500 though (but I want it)
It's funny, I have Photoshop and a tablet but I still draw on here. I like the community, and the 3DS is more available than the computer sometimes. It sometimes helps to draw things initially on here and bring that into a bigger canvas on the computer!
But honestly I just mostly like having the community. There are other art communities but I know and understand this one and I have friends here!
(The canvas size is often the death of me and I wish it were doubled. The frustrating thing is that it CAN be doubled. The 3DS can handle it. I don't know why the creator chose not to, honestly. It's cumbersome when a single pixel holds so much weight in the final result.)

Until then I'll be reposting some flipnotes I made awhile ago with remastered music (because the animation I'm making now may very well take two months to complete)

In fact I may not finish this week yet, most of my time is dedicated to this animation project due early December! (It's 90 seconds, and that's about 1,104 frames. If that wasn't enough I'm doing backgrounds, characters, music, sound effects, and the whole nine yards! Irs hard work. So no worries.)
