I recommend to you a music group called Animal Collective.
Their music is amazingly trippy and helped cure my creative troubles more than once.

I would LOVE a monster cat! Ex, multiple eyes, different tail, primarily dark colors with a splash of bright color, ex a light blue, pink, purple, or even green!
