So, before Joe became a Realm Leader, he and Violet had an ongoing relationship. They did the 'thing' and had Lorie. Violet was attacked by a monster and d.ied, her powers passed over to Joe 'cause they Combined.
Violet appointed Joe to rule over her Realm before she passed away. Which is unusual, because only Crios and Atlas are allowed to choose leaders.
I also changed their toungues to blue, since space human's blood is blue, instead of pink.
