(Soooooo! I have a question :D How old are the adorable kiddos in this roleplay? :3)

(Well, since Talcot is entering the room and saying something to Luxia, you can start it off. But if you would like, I can too. Its your choice ^0^)

(But before we start, what timeline is this. Like how old are the two kiddos in the roleplay? :D)

(Id say Talcot is 16 or 17 >v< not too sure how younger or older Luxia is or maybe shes the same age lol I shall start us off then just give me a sec )

(Okay! You can start it off! ^0^ Well, me and @Cookies have been brainstorming some stuff, so Luxia may be a year or two older ;3 It depends on when me and @Cookies get around to doing the roleplay that moves that plot further >:3)

(Buuuuuuut I would call it safe and say Luxia is a year older ^0^)

Akara smiled happily at his son as he sheathed his sword. "You're coming along quite nicely Talcot. Soon enough you'll surpass even me." Talcot was hunched over his hands on his knees as he was trying to catch his breath. "Hah... T-thank you father.." He was quite exhausted. Even though his fathers' praise was high Talcot knew he is even close to the level his father is. Akara didn't even break a sweat as Talcot was currently gasping for air. Akara smiled once more and threw a towel at Talcot "Alright I say we're done for today so the rest of the day is yours. I think is lunch time too so why don't-"Talcot looked mortified "Its noon already??!! Luxia is going to kill me for being late again!" He mustered whatever strength he had left and sprinted down to Luxias quarters only to meet her in the hall way.

"A-ah... sorry I'm late Luxia..." He scratched his cheek awkwardly. 'damn I can feel her staring into my soul scarryyyy' he thought to himself.

(Mwehehe! Perfect! My turn >;3)

Luxia stared at the closed bedroom door that led to the castle hallway. She was awaiting a knock on the door. She was eager to start her daily experiments, but she had a daily routine with Talcot that virtually involved Talcot escorting Luxia to the repurposed green house in the eastern gardens.
Her stoic eyes blinked a few times as she came to the obvious truth that Talcot was late AGAIN.

"Hmmm.....Late again. I guess it is safe to assume he has a chronic condition....."

Luxia said aloud to no one in particular before brushing lint off her dress and grabbing her tome of scientific notes, heading to the door and opening it. Her boots made a "Tick-Clack" noise as she strode commandingly into the castle hallway. Shortly thereafter she was confronted by none other than the late person in question. Thinking to herself she said internally: "Well, how convenient."

Luxia crossed her arms and stared unblinkingly at talcot. Seeming to bore a hole through his soul with her stoic and unforgiving eyes.

"You said this yesterday. A king should be dignified and punctual. Always on time and ready to converse in small talk."

(And yes, she called him a "King" xD)

Talcot sighed remembering what he said but he remembers that he was referring to his dad, not himself. "That... That is true. Again I'm sorry. Father had me spar with him and it ran later than it was supposed to." He knew that telling her this probably wouldn't be enough to satisfy why he was late. "And please don't call me king I'm not even close to being worthy of that title." He used the towel he had to wipe his face for he was still sweaty from his spar with Akara. "A-Anyways.. We're going to the greenhouse again right?" He smiled lightly.

Luxia lowered her arms and shook her head back and forth, chewing her fore finger in frustration.

"I understand you and his lordship love sparring but, even I know when I should cease my research in order for more important things."

Waving her hand above her head lackadaisically she swept the problem aside.

"Well, no matter. You are a young and still useful to me. You will learn. Even if it takes a few decades."

Luxia started toward the stairs at the end of the hallway slowly. Her boots tapping slowly on the finely polished floor.
She spoke as they walked.

"Talcot my guinea pig, you of all people should know that you will become king when your father decides to finish his life cycle. And since that is factually so and guaranteed in the future, it is as if you are already king. Since many great minds, Me included. Think that time is not flowing, but ever present. The creation and end is all happening at the same moment."

Luxia tilted her head to look at Talcot as she replied.

"The greenhouse? You mean my Distinguished Laboratory? I will try to feign a false sense of denial and pretend you did not call it such. It is less green and more gray anyway."

"Well he's training me and I can't really say no to him even if I wanted to." he sighed once more "You wouldn't understand Lux" He tilted his head slightly "And what do you mean young" he laughed slightly "I'm one year younger than you, you, by all means, are young as well missy." He walked beside her and continued to listen to her speak. He wasn't like his sisters who would ignore what she'd say out of boredom he rather liked listening to her speak. "Ah yes how foolish of me to call the Laboratory a greenhouse. My sincerest apologies." He held his hands behind his back "So what experiment shall be performed today? Hopefully, it isn't like the one last week where you turned my tongue purple. It was so hard trying to explain to my mother that I wasn't ill."

(her nickname shall now be Lux)

Luxia shrugged lethargically as they walked. She liked talking to Talcot. Although she often bombarded him with unkind remarks or criticized many of his habits or woes, she realized very quickly he actually listened to her when many would try to break conversation early or ignore her. This was a result of her being hypercritical and overly scientific and insensitive to others. She was still trying to comprehend why Talcot put up with her when others would not. The most logical conclusion she could come to was that he suffered from codependency.

"You are a free person. So you can obviously deny him the training sessions you two do so often. But, It is just impolite and possibly detrimental to your family relationship. All of this is fact. But it does not justify your inability to be punctual to some of the most basic of meetings. Just know I will be benevolent and give you an exception. Just know that failure to comply will ultimately result in non lethal yet unusual punishment. Furthermore, I understand clearly. Father is tutoring me in the art of Fencing."

"I am older than you, that can not be changed. But, I would like to state that I never once said I was old. Or older than you in fact. I just stated you were youthful, and thus able to learn. And please, do not worry about the statement of the Laboratory. It is true it was once a humbly quaint little greenhouse. Now it is a mighty and distinguished institution of intelligence"

They were now down the stairs and exiting the castle through one of its side exits leading to the gardens. The birds were chirping and the fresh air was delightful. It was a peaceful afternoon. Hot, but pleasantly devoid of worry. Luxia scoffed aloud at Talcot's statement of the purple tongue incident.

"Worry not guinea pig. Todays experiment will be significantly more beneficial to science than that would-be experiment. But as always, scientific efforts are often dangerous."

"Ah true I should work on my time management. Thougghh seeing an emotion other than skeptical criticism from you is always neat so seeing you a bit upset from me being late was... Nice I suppose. As weird as that sounds anyways." He said with a slight hum to his voice.
Talcot looked up at the sky and smiled from how beautiful of a day it was. Then something he remembered seeing popped up in his head "Hey did you hear about Miss Amai's experiment? Apparently, she made a boat float, she's calling them Airships and they run on energy crystals."
(Around the kids teenage years I want to introduce airships)

(Ah! That'll be interesting! That is super cool! Gonna be even more fantasy-like that way >:D)

Luxia sent an inquisitive eye toward Talcot. Her pigtails wobbled as she did so.

"So you find enjoyment in my scoldings? Hmmm....Interesting.....So my hypothesis was correct."

They had reached the middle part of the Citrine gardens where the refurbished greenhouse laboratory of Luxia's.
She inhaled the lovely aroma of flowers as they approached the lab entrance.

With a straight face, she replied to Talcot

"Ah yes. Master Amai's work on aerodynamic arcane flight and geotheologic manipulation is truly revolutionary. I can not wait to see how her invention revolutionizes civilization as we know it. Making sea vessels in the end obsolete."

Internally, Luxia smiled at her next statement.

"Master Amai has always had an affinity for rocks. I wish her well with those findings. She is my tutor and rolemodel. I seek to best her scientifically and logically in the future. My gift of thanks for her years of tutoring will be my demonstration of how much smarter than her I have become. That is, if she is alive when that day comes."

(to Luxia, what she is saying is a compliment and completely not mean;t to be offensive xD She is just so socially awkward >3<)

Talcot sighed "No I don't like being scolded by you so your hypothesis is wrong. I do however enjoy seeing other emotions from you. Take that as you will." He stated flat out looking away from her so she would be able to see his expression.

Once composed he looked back at Luxia "I actually like regular boats so seeing them disappear would be kinda sad. Even if by your point of view is a tech-.." He paused a moment trying to remember how to say the word correctly "Technological setback."
"She's still tutoring you though right? So I guess you're as close to besting her as I am to besting my father in a sword fight." He laughed slightly "I jest of course. Though... it's an interesting thought that we soon enough will be handed over what their generation has left us." He looked a bit down "Especially me with an entire kingdom to look after, while the twins go on to be semi-normal" he mumbled to himself.
(Talcot is dreading the day he is crowned king lol)

Luxia tilted her head to try and see Talcot's face. Eventually she gave and continued to speak.

"Hmmm if you say so. If you would find it comforting, I would like to say that I enjoy the occasional change in my daily pace when you mess up the time schedule. But I am truly perplexed as to why the appearance of my emotions are so ' 'Neat?' ' Especially when you see them in every other individual everyday......."

"Well, even I must confess I find boats enjoyable. And boats may find themselves preserved by the cultures around the world just for the very same reason I like them: Their relaxing and are close to the local sea life."

Luxia thought for a moment before speaking.

"Technological Setback...... Hmmm..... Boats could still live on. And I know how too! Just make the Air Ships Water compatible. Have the men rigging them prepare them for sea travel as well. So now they can land on the bountiful sea for pit stops and what not. And for emergency crashes. So now instead of being technologically forgotten or destined for tourism.....They can serve a dual purpose and be a natural function in the ' 'Air' ' Ship........At least, I believe that would work."

Luxia opened the door of the Green House Laboratory. The smell of chemicals and strange sounds erupted from within.

"And yes, I am still her student. But I hope to take her place as the foremost important intellectual mind of the world. I am sure she would want it that way too. But alas, she has knowledge I have not developed yet. But eventually the young will overtake the old. But yes, it is a bit daunting that the new generation must take up the mantle of the future as the old fade away. Truly an interesting cycle."

Gazing over at Talcot with a confident yet stoic expression, she put a hand on Talcot's shoulder and tapped it to try and encourage him.

"Some are born great. And some have greatness thrust upon them. And you for one, have both going for you. So lets not dwell on the impossible chance of you failing at the divine right of regnant rulership."

(Welp, ima be hitting the hay at 11:30-Ish. Just wanted to let'cha know in advanced. I got a very busy day tomorrow xD Ima be taking my younger cousins Trick-or-Treating and gonna prepare a Halloween cheesecake >3<)

Talcot scrunched his nose a bit. He never minded the smell of the Lab but it was still unpleasant, to say the least. "I suppose you're right." It was going to take a lot more than some words of encouragement to make him feel taking up the thrown was a good thing but he booked the matter for now. "Yea but you rarely ever seem to have emotions so when it comes from you it's new and fresh than the ones I see every day by other people. It's hard to explain, Mako might know a better way to put it." he clapped and rubbed his hands together. "Alright, Im ready bring on the fire. Not actual fire for I rather not die, but the experimentation."

(mako being talcots best friend lol yeyy trick-or-treating. I myself am taking my little brother trick-or-treating. lol i shall also be dressing up which shall be fun.)

Luxia closed the door behind Talcot and started rummaging through her notes for key references for her next experiment. She lick her thumbs as they got dry from the rapid paced speed reading and page flipping.

"Indeed. I more often than not right. And with that bit of fact laid down, I want to inform you that I would be honored to offer my council to you promptly when you ascend the throne. Father would want it that way anyway."

Luxia tilted her head at Talcot's thoughts on emotion.

"I see......So if I suddenly one day became more expressive like everyone else, I would not be as refreshing. That is a bit disheartening for my future self which at some point may or may not become so........I must think on that further at a later time."

Luxia put her thumb to her mouth as she chewed on the barely existant edge of the finger nail. (She chews it too much.) She raised an eyebrow slowly, a very brief grin could be seen for a split second before being retracted.

"Hmmm, I have to confess that I did not include the possible fatality details of the ''Purple Tongue'' experiment. There was a chance your tongue would fall off the following day.....But it seems I have determined that only effects rodents.....BUT! Enough talk of the past! On to the ever present future! Todays experiment will involve me trying to duplicate and observe a piece of the human body!"

(Same. I am using my anime convention outfit for trick or treating with my cousins. Since it is complete now >3<(My Haku outfit :D) )

(Aye! well, its sleepy time for me now xD If you want, make more roleplay posts hre and i'll make roleplay post replies when I have the time. Kinda like a long play-Roleplay xD

"The day you become more expressive is the day I die," he said jokingly. "Don't take it the wrong way Lux, I quite like you the way you are. If you suddenly became like everyone else then..." he paused "Never mind the thought. It has passed." he said with a light smile then it was replaced with a bit of skepticism. "Duplicate and observe a piece of the human body? Have you tried this on rats orr am I going to be the first ever and it inevitably kills me." He sat down in his 'guinea pig chair' that he's sat in countless of times. Never sure himself why he agreed to allow Luxia to experiment on him but none the less he was there. "Well, hopefully, you did your research, which now that I think of it, is sort of a dumb question to be asking since you always do your research."

Hey Kohai, I kind of have a question and a request cause I wanted to make a healer outside of priestess class ;w;

I kinda wanted them to use bandages as healing, but I also wanted them to use another sort of healing she could do which uses feathers actually -w-
I was just wondering if I could make them or not under just "healer" class to make it easier :o ?
But if I can't make them I understand okie so don't worry xD

Just wondering what I can and can't do tbh, and asking your permission, thanks for the help!
