critique? hm i'll say that... uh?? the lines on the left ear are kinda wobbly but i shouldn't be talking i can't get straight lines myself--- and (if the light source is directly to the right) the red lighting should also be on the underside of the leg she's holding up as it can still be reached by the light? i dunno gosh i suck at this
also i'm wearing a crochet bowtie right now so that's nice
Aa, If you're okay with me giving a bit of criticism, I'd like to point out that I can't really tell if the red is from a light source or is a shadow. If it's from a source, It doesn't work to well here, because the value of the red is darker that the character. And since red itself has a darker value, it wouldn't work to well to make it lighter. If it's a shadow, It looks a bit out of place because there isn't a notable light source and it's rather bright for a shadow hh
tl;dr : You're colour theory and values is a little off and just needs a bit of work. Sycra has some rlly good tutorials for some of this stuff, and I'd like to recommend his video "Going from Grayscale to Colour". It has a lot of info about colour values °<°!!
