Jeremey originally came from a city, where he lived in an appartment with his mother and worked as a nightguard in various establishments because his insomnia made it easy to stay up all night and his anxiety usually lead to him being awake anyway. Ever since he was a child, after a near-death experience, he has been able to see various spirits, both friendly and demonic. His early life was filled with trouble, medication, and the odd exorcism when harmful spirita got too attached. As he grew, he learned to distance himself from the spirit world, but the damage, and the ability, was still there. Not long after he had got a job working as a nightguard at a restaurant, he found the first of the spirits currently attached to him. Peverell the Harlequin had been haunting the establishment for quite a few years before he was found by Jeremey, both of whom were astounded when they discovered that they could make physical contact with each other (which wouldn't normally happen). When Jeremey left his shift, he found that Peverell could follow him and had a connection to his own living soul.
Later, the restaurant was closed, and Jeremey managed to find a job at a small local theme park, where he found the next two spirits. Ferrin the Fox and Benedict (Benny) the Jackrabbit were two who had died a few years before Jeremey had found them after a fatal rollercoaster accident had killed them. They too, where confused that their dead spirits could connect to the living one of Jeremey's, but eventually they all got used to it.
The next was the spirit of Chris the Wolf, who had killed himself in the hotel he was staying at with his mother while on a trip to the next town over. At first, he was a very angry and harmful spirit (hence the rips on his mask), but Jeremey had managed to calm him and found that he too joined to his soul. By this time he began to get suspicious of why these ghosts had connected to him and began to research into why. His search lead him to various locations, one being the old library in his town. He went searching for an answer, but only ended up with another ghost, that of Elliot the Bear, who was quickly discovered to be the little brother of Chris while they were alive and had died in a fire that had torn down many buildings around the library.

Jeremey and his ghosts eventually came close to an answer. They discovered that certain "psychics" who could percieve ghosts on the visible spectrum would be able to connect with spirits who had a strong connection to the phsyical world and their souls were stronger than most humans'. This would allow the psychic to enhance their physical abilities using the power of the spirits as an item, such as a mask or wristband were the examples.
However, not long after this discovery, Jeremey had a very close encounter with an out-of-control truck and lost all his memory, which is where this story splits.
In the Sanctuary universe, he suddenly appeared outside of Oliver's house within the Sanctuary and was quickly taken in, his spiritual abilities soon reappearing and his newfound one of summoning masks to enhance his abilities not too long after. He was given the job of protecting the spiritual community and appeasing the spirits at the various burial grounds within the Sanctuary.
In the Minecraft universe (god it's paining me to say it), he was found outside a village and taken in by a kindly player who taught him to fight with various swords until he was well enough to fend for himself in the open world, where he discovered his mask abilities on his own. He soon found himself in the custody of the infamous rebel group Night Strikes after he was captured near a Enderman Hunter camp, which is one of the groups the Night Strikes fight against. After proving his innocence, he joined their ranks to use his powers for good, like the rest of them, eventually finding himself falling for the resident magic master and ice mage Marcien.
However, there are two consistencies between the two universes, one being Jeremey's own mask, the Panther. He speculates that it comes from his very close calls with death, despite the fact he can't recall many of them. For him to summon and use this mask is very dangerous and is reserved for true emergency situations. The other relates to not only his own, but the other masks of the spirits too. If he summons and uses it on someone other than himself, this can cause catastrophic consequences.

(I'm done now you can comment lmao)

Ooh, he looks so cool, and I love his story! So he has connections with all of these spirits? And there's nothing wrong with having a character that exists in a videogame world, I do it too. XD

Reply: I don't know why they'd do that. I don't play Minecraft, but from what I know it's pretty popular. And yeah, I have characters who exist in videogame worlds. XD Sheldon from #ShacklestoneRP was originally created as a game character.
