Fairfin that are without a 'Bond partner' live in what called the 'pool of memories' ( they we're giving that name for a reason ) it's a place we're the water is pure and the magic content is high, they usually a waterfall or fountain to keep air flow within the pond, because of the content of a water rare plants and flowers that can only be seen near the pools.
Fairfin do not reproduce like other creatures, they are born from what called a 'life vine' it described as a plant, they start off as small buds and gain of color of what the Fairfin would be as it grow, when the bud is about to bloom it breaks off from the stem Vine and floats to the surface of the water and open up, giving birth to the baby Fairfin Inside.

( This is why most Fairfin love water, and are great swimmers)

Fairfin are living form of Light magic, a type of familiar, they pick a Bond partner to link there life foce with, it's Instinct a feeling that this person is the one to form a bond with.
( It's mainly with Dreamers but on some occasions they will form bonds with other species)

The Fairfin will touch the one they wish to make a bond with ( both have to be willing ) the Fairfin will glow first as they are linking there life, one connected the wrong partner will glow as well.
A Fairfin is free to travel with there partner into other rooms but they have to keep within a proximity of there Partner, this is because outside The Land of Dreams other world's my not have the magic a Fairfin needs to live and have to pull it from there Partner.

Dreamers must have a Fairfin partner before they hit maturity, usually they form a bond before the age of 10, ether the Fairfin finds there Dreamer fawn or the fawn parents take them to the pool of memories to find there Fairfin.

Fairfin and Dreamers have been forming bonds together as long as both can remember, but there was a time this was not so, there was a time Fairfin didn't even exist...
