It reminds me about the story about the Christmas tree.
I don't know if you heard, but it was a tiny tree that used to see into a house. The pretty trees each Winter. It dreamed for years to be chosen like that, but each year it was bypassed for someone bigger and more beautiful.
... it ends a bit sadly.
It has it's dream furfilled, after the pain of losing its roots, and for a couple days it enjoys the glory of being beautiful.
It is thrown up on the attic for a year listening them celebrate a Christmas once again With another tree forgotten. And then in the summer being choped up by a maid and burned.
....
Yeah.
It reminded me of that story. A little bush growing up slowly.
... It is why I don't want a real tree. :(
