Unfinished Map of Vallis by Crowley the Dragon

#ShacklestoneRP

A sketchy map of the country of Vallis, with a few parts missing. I mostly included the areas that are important or may become important in the near future. I'll write a quick description of each area in the comments.

The Shacklestone Region in the northeast has the largest population of any region in Vallis... or it did, before a certain villain changed that.

Shackletone is also the second-largest region, and consists almost entirely of Shacklestone City; very little forest grows nearby although there are several miles of empty heath and grassland outside the city walls.

This region also houses a second small settlement - the village of Riverside. It has a mostly human population and is about a quarter of the city's size.

The Old Kingdom, so named because it was the first place travellers settled in when they founded the country, is home to the King and his people. Sovereign's City rivals Shacklestone for size and density, and is where the King's soldiers and important subjects reside. The region is mostly dry heathland with a few mountains to the east, a section of the Guardian River, and some sparse forest.

Residents of the Old Kingdom are generally tolerant of non-human beings, though there are always a few prejudiced people around, and thr King himself is rumoured to be terrified of magical creatures.

The Mountain region is a small area, isolated by the forests and rocky peaks that surround it. Very few humans live there, and there aren't many more non-humans either. There are no large towns or villages.

Dragon Haven is a mountainous region containing the majority of Greywater River, which provides a neverending supply of fresh, clean water. Again, few humans dare to venture into this part of the country. However, as its name implies, it is a safe haven for dragon shifters and any other creatures that thrive in the wilderness. Legend says that in the earliest days of Vallis, the humans drove all the dragons out of the Old Kingdom and forced them to seek refuge in these mountains instead.

That's all the info I have on the regions for now. Two of them have been left out, but we'll find out more about them if they ever become relevant. X)

The coloured dots on the map represent important locations from the RP, in case you somehow couldn't tell.

Ooooooooooooohhhhhhhh, Vallis is a monarchy. All this time I've been operating under the assumption that it was a unified democratic state. Boy, do I feel foolish. XD This map is very helpful, nonetheless. Thanks for making it.

I think by "unified democratic state", I actually just meant democracy. I'm unsure of the proper etymology.

re: I'd like to
but
I don't have any paticular ideas for worlds to set an RP in or any backstories for one
If I did one it would probably end up being a typical Warriors clan type thing

And tbh, I'm just scared of running a group RP
