Name: Zyn
Personality: Likes to keep to itself. Violent when provoked. Hates almost everyone besides those it thinks deserve its respect.
Background: Zyn is a wind spirit that was once quite benevolent but was corrupted and grew to hate most humans as its domain was being destoyed by them. Humans that sought power decided to exploit the magic that all of the elemental spirits once granted them. As the humans grew more powerful, the spirits became more powerless to stop them. The spirits are beginning to lose power as a result of this exploitation. Although there are humans that try to help the spirits regain power and fight the evil humans, they are often overpowered by the evil ones. If only the spitits could band togeter to return balance to the world... but, alas, they would rather stick to their personal vendettas. Zyn itself has been attacked many times by humans who think it evil because they think that it is witholding power from them. It will kill those who do this, and its lantern contains their souls. However, it prefers to stay hidden rather than be hurt. It hopes one day the world will return to the way it should be. Should it ever need to use a large amount of power, it can become a large green dragon. However, it prefers only to use force when necessary

God this is gorgeous, and the backstory for this boy is mesmerizing. :0 You're somehow even better at art and character design than you were a year ago, which never ceases to blow my mind.
