GG and Dark are two non-fusion Garnets that serve as interrogators/investigators under (Chill) White Diamond.
Grey Garnet, nicknamed GG, is usually the "good cop" in each interrogation scenario. She can sense the caring another gem has for something or someone else, and possesses Past Vision. She also has a calming effect on those around her, which helps to interrogate particularly fighty gems without employing her brother's force. However, she is easily distracted and tends to go off-topic quite quickly. Her gem placement is on her right hand, and tends to use that hand more for touch and combat, as her gem weapon is a spiked pair of brass knuckles.
Dark Red Garnet, often called Dark, is the "bad cop" when interrogating, despite not talking much. His third eye that looks over his glasses is a large intimidation point for him, as well as "tall, dark and dangerous" manner. He can sense when someone is being untruthful, and possesses Future Vision. His tactic is to scare the one being interrogated into telling the truth, often using manipulation to convince them that nothing bad will happen to them if they tell the truth. However, outide of the interrogation room he's a silent softie, often keeping his sister and any other gems that he may care for out of trouble.

They're often used to gather information before a trial if there is not much present, going around and asking those who know the subject and know what they've done. They always get the truth out of anyone they come across, no matter how long it takes. They're both very determined to do their job, and are loyal to their Diamond.

(I forgot Dark's weapon uGH-)
Dark's gem placement is on his chest, hence his knowing how the defendant feels "in their heart". His weapon is a bladed shield that he can split in two for dual weapons, or keep as one to defend.

As a person who likes "Good Cop/Bad Cop" characters, I think these two are quite cool!
