Because i might have confused some with my last explaination.

for the most part there are no serious limitations on characters species, (except for op or god like characters, there can as always be exceptions if they can fit into the story that is, if not they'll need to be powered down.) But i'll cover all the race groups anyway as to aid in your character creation.

Humans: The main inhabitants of Saerith. can be born with magical abilities even from normal parents.

Elves: Elves have a natural affinity to magic, having a sorta 'sixth sense' for understanding and learning it.

Dragons: Mysterious beings who rarely show themselves, their scales are impervious to most magic. you can however meet the occasional nice dragon.

Fur Folk: People with animalistic quality's, they tend to have strong instincts.

Faes: Rare to find in saerith, but they exist. weaker ones tend to be smaller in size.

Demons: The original denizens of dark magic, it is said they originally came from another world, and were called demons as a shortened way of saying dimension. Many were killed during the war. usually have purple eyes. but not always.

Feather Folk: Winged people, they are rare to see, as legend says dragons ate most of them to gain their powers.

Merfolk: Inhabitants of water, magic allows them to breathe on land.

Vampires: it is said they went extinct during the war, they're signature magic is blood magic.
