Bio: Xand lived with his mother and father in a poorer area of Erul due to a lack of financial support. At age four, however, his father died of illness and his mother had taken over raising and homeschooling Xand until he was fifteen, when he left home for other pursuits, one of which was studying Necromancy, which he had a firm interest in. He usually would ask other necromancers for tips, or read books on the subject at local libraries. About four years [Nineteen yrs old] into his studies, however, he longed to travel outside of the country, but didn’t have the finances to sustain him in his travels, as a way around this, he realized that, perhaps, the country’s army didn’t have to pay for trips across the world.

With this knowledge, Xand applied to join the army, and excelled through training. Four more years later [Twenty-threr yrs old], he had been coaxed into the army’s purpose, he too believing that having a goddess looking over things only served as a crutch, and made the other countries weaker because of it [That’s what I got out of the lore, at least...]. With this, he also was able to leave his homeland for battles or training and such, though not as far as he originally thought. Either way he was grateful. Because of his performance and loyalty to his country, Xand was pulled aside by Lumious himself, and promoted as his Retainer[Or...bodyguard or whatevs]. With this promotion, however, Xand was also given the same darkness that Lumious and his father before him had been bestowed with [It’s kinda like a disease, isn’t it?].

I’ll solidify this bio once I solidify the character itself. I changed a little bit of what I originally wrote for the origin of why he’s the Retainer of Lumious, but that’s only to fit it in with Xand’s class and the rest.
