He actually cries while doing this. His hair is tightly packed into buns with those gold bands. He has a hard time getting them off. So you only see him with his hair down after a shower or before.
Also did I mention he never takes off his necklace? Never, not even in the shower, or when he goes to bed.
Judi is afraid that he might die from the necklace suffocating him in his sleep.
