Fiveleafclover, this is definitely a well known image and I would think that is pretty obvious. As you can tell from the rest of my paintings, they are all stills that I find excellent pieces of art, and I am more than happy to admit to those who can't already make the assumption for themselves that I am replicating these images. But don't knock me because I have a knack for painting from sight. It's something that I've been doing with nintendo artwork since I was a child. I love drawing these to pay tribute to the games that shaped my childhood. What I did was have the image on the upper screen as there are so many colurs involved. I used it for a reference. But thanks for your kind words, I'm glad you like it.

This painting is wonderful! I love how you can see the 'brush strokes' it gives it a fast paced feel. I will be sure to check out your gally. :D

Guys you are all awesome, thank you so much for the feedback! I would like to point out, as there are a few people who don't recognise their Nintendo, that this is of course a piece of artwork from Mario Galaxy 2. It's one of my favourite images so I painted it, and yes a guide picture was used on top screen as there are like hundreds of colours in there lol! That's just for the fools who accuse of 'art theft' and such. It's not theft, it's tribute! NINTENDO FTW!
