My school is forcing us to use an essay-submitting site that they must have bought like a 3 year subscription to...and it is garbage. It's supposed to help thwart plagarism by noting other places that use an exact set of words.... but it does so even if you cited it. My entire works cited (as in, the mla list) was entirely listed as being plagarized. :I

The site just accused me of plagarizing the phrase "Marfan syndrome is a genetic disorder...who" WHICH ISN'T EVEN MY ACTUAL SENTENCE. I used it as "Marfan syndrome, also commonly called MFS, is a genetic..." and it was still flagged! Also, my super common last name in the upper right page count is always counted, too. :I
