as you can see, gary looks very old. well, this is for a comic i'm writing as a fan comic for hillenburg. thomas wants to be a dj but gets stuck working at shady shoals. he's kind of a stuck up brat, believing anything he gets told at school. one day, he gets fed up with his dad always telling him to do things, so thomas yells at him, saying "all the kids at school hate me because i'm your son! they all say their parents told them that you're an idiot that never learned to drive until you were 35! if i stay here, i'll catch your stupidity!" :( spongebob, being the more mature adult in this series, hasn't cried since the day thomas was born (but those were happy tears). instead of crying, he retreated to his library and began reading a few of his favorite books. (quantum physics, dark matter (a book about what the universe is made from), and teachings of aristotle (particularly aristotle's golden mean). thomas frequently visits squidward to practice his dj skills while squidward--

-- listens and tries to give critical feedback. when thomas came back home one day though, he found out his mom has cancer of the calves, which would degenerate her legs muscle tissue, causing her to need a wheelchair the rest of her life, that is, if spongebob did nothing. he went to the doctor and asked if they could take some of his cells to make a medicine that could help her be able to regenerate. they succeeded a few weeks later, but not before thomas kept on blaming his dad for not acting sooner. spongebob said nothing, still didn't cry, nor get angry. he simply gives thomas a hug then proceeds to cook dinner for his family.
