Has a low population. You barely see anybody, and you don't come across houses at all. The people you do meet seem inhuman somehow. They never get hungry, thirsty, or sleepy. They're never born and they never die. They just come into existence, and occasionally back out. The same goes for the giant gray monoliths that give the place its name. The people say they aren't man-made structures, and they're obviously not natural formations.
