Tourmaline slid off her labcoat, finally being done w/ work for the day
she looked around her lab, cluttered w/ objects and tiny nuts and bolts
to her right was a tightly locked door, containing the poofed (and contained in a bubble... for now) gem experiments as well as shattered gem shards
her weary eyes drifted off, she was tired from work

Tourmaline snapped back to reality and walked up to the door, typed in the code, and watched it slowly open

A smile spread across her tired face (in a creepy-looking way) "And do who do I owe the plesure, Holly Blue?"
(a kinda airy tone in her voice)

She frowns, ever-so-slightly
"Defect? I'm afraid that's not in my feild of..." She paused to look at the nervous gem "Expertice."
"But if you wish," she added, hastily, "I can take a look at your gem, my iluminecent"

she walks w/ you back into the lab, and puts on her lab coat once more
"Would you mind telling me what your 'defect' is?"

"Here, sit up there" she pointed to a tall table, and grabed a small devise

She held up the devise, and pressed a button
a small green hologram screen apeared, and she held it up to Blues' gem for several mins, pressing buttons and glancing back at the door on the right
after a while, she said "i don't think i can help, y-"
she was cut of by a 'poof' and a clunk in the other room
she stood up quickly and she had a strange look on her face

"The /fusion experiments!/
They've finally regenerated!"
She ran to the door, and quickly typed in the code
the door slid open, and there was a glowing light barrior seperating a huge, /thing/
it looked like a writhing mass of limbs, and it screeched (although it was barly audible because of the barrior)
she looked /proud/ of the grotesc creature (kinda staring @ it w/ crazy eyes lmao)

She looks back at the other gem and notices she's nervous
"it's fine, they're locked up behind these military grade cells, the same ones they used on those /chrystal gems/ back in the war"
she fround at the name of the chrystal gems
a saturated green hand attached to a foot crawled up to her
"ah, i let this one roam free" she said while picking it up "because it's harmless.
Isn't it cute?"

like, i was going to make my own other chara for her to do it, but i really wanted to try this stuff too
oh, so my idea was that she got an assidtant, i suppose, and idk, she was really nice (?) so that gem became so completely infatuated, she never noticed anything (? lots of question marks because i'm not entirely sure lmao) and is eventually experimented on (? another one XD) and idk she says it's 'for the good of the species or something, but it isn't and something goes wrong
