To start off no this isnt a story format just more of kind of just me describing it but with maybe mild story stuff? Idk exactly but I'll explain best I can. Please don't comment till I finish ;)

Okay so basically, first off sylyore is quite basically in old times yet NO TIME at all its in like a bubble of it's own time. Dralius takes advantage of this to go anywhere she wants with her portals. So basically in the archipelago far in the future a group of scientists tried cloning nightfurys (no toothless isn't the only one I'm going off of The Future Me's (he's on yt) theories.) The tests went wrong when the main power supply -based on solar energy to power the machine- the core had a mild meltdown and the energy leaked into the test tubes. Most of the clones died from extreme UV ray exposure BUT one clone, the first sunfury himself and the 2nd stage clone had survived at a very young age yet was the oldest of the clones. His dark skin became sun bleached and soon grew into a very yellow-ish white. (Not done)

Long tendrils grew from his snout to form whiskers and his full genetics altered in massive ways. The sudden extreme power cracked the glass and broke his tube and caused him to wake up for the first time. The sun energy caused him to be bnlind for a few moments but he finally managed to get his bearings. The scientists had ran off, evacuated in fear of the meltdown.

Dralius could sense this new power. She wanted it or at least to control it so she made a portal and immediately brought him to sylyore. The island was still developing, rii roamed, baby Nagalo had just hatched and the treasure seekers established their fortress. The SunFury perked his ears upon seeing the shadowy beast, she was young, small yet bigger than him. She screeched upon seeing the bright energy, unaware it was her main weakness at first glance. She roared in anger and harnessed the shadows from the young beast to her own minions, her own army, one of the natural enemy of sunfury, the ShadowFurys. Dralius sent them charging for him, his own shadow forming into one of the vial beasts. (Tricked ya faf members hahah she isnt part shadowfury, she just hates them because they eventually betrayed her haha)

Soon the other shadow furys formed into their own species, living in different climates. Dralius wanted revenge on all of them yet... The young sunfury grew stronger than her, preventing her. He was unique, he had the ability to reproduce asexually but was still determined as a male. Soon the reet hatched and the sunfury formed into the rulers of sylyore we come to love. Though the family closest to his design were mildly the same as him, and have extraordinary Legendary power. (Legendary sunfury hints) anyways thats it! Enjoy! The gold thing n stuff is just how he adapted, not able to hunt at such a young age.

Or the other idea i have is a nightfury was trapped and got stuck in the sun for years but survived with a nearby water source and eventually the radioactive solar energy was harnessed by him and he was Ilios but idk which one do you rather?
