I'd love to play with Leo and Juno more but if you'd like to do something new I'm good with that too

(There's also a spider on the wall that's really freaking me out, but I'm trying to pretend it doesn't bother me)

Juno hums in acknowledgment. "I suppose that could be considered a feat...in the eyes of underachievers." She casts her gaze over the city again. "However advancement doesn't always correlate to success, if they become too advanced they will revolt. You're on your last years, who will take your place once you're gone?" She folded her wings close to her sides and floated over Leonidas' head.

The Aitazatl king narrows his eyes as he listens to Juno speak, but he merely clears his throat again. "Oh, I know, I know... that is how most settlements are... But I can assure you, even if I die without an heir or successor, these ones will never rebel... I have... ways, of making them behave. Unless..." Leonidas doesn't finish his sentence and really only mumbles the last word, but in his mind, he knows what the deciding factor is... //Unless the portal is opened and Maldius... or what's left of him, is freed...//

To finish the convo...I'm not too into tv shows either but I just fell in love with that show a few years back. I could't help it XD

Juno narrows her eyes at the smaller Aitazatl. "One can never be too sure when dealing with an unpredictable force." She sits up and wraps herself around in a semi comfortable position, hovering above Leonidas. "I just find it curious how you never reported your findings back to the Homeworld, or returned at all for that matter."

(she's gonna give him a right 'spooke' mate)

(Heheh, ooh boy)

Leonidas furrows his brow a moment, thinking deeply. "Hmmm, I haven't? I thought for sure I sent someone..." he mumbles, then adds, "Well, I haven't had the time to go back. You can either tell the Empress herself how wonderful this planet is, or I can try sending someone again, either way is fine."

(Oops, got distracted)

Juno lets out a low growl. "This could have ramifications, some on the council might call this an act of disobedience." She gives another once-over to the city below. Her ears flick up slightly and she pauses, seemingly lost in a trance for a quick second before returning her attention to Leonidas.

(lol it's alright)

"Disobediance...?" Leonidas repeats, and a look of fear flashes across his face for a split second. "No, no, I did not act out of disobediance, the actions I took, I did all for the sake of our people. Do you really think I'd be foolish enough to betray my own people?" The old king looks away from Juno as he speaks, not seeming too thrilled about making eye contact with the fellow Aitazatl.

She glares down at him but her expression eventually relaxes. "Luck must have visited you. I have been...convinced to not report anything negative, for now." She looks out towards the horizon with a distant look. "Be sure to at least try to contact the Homeworld at some point soon."

(I just imagined the funniest thing for Leo, haha)

Leonidas eases up as well when Juno relaxes, and breathes out a faint sigh. "I'll see to it, the Homeworld will receive the news shortly..."

The light Aitazatl suddenly inhales sharply, like he's in pain, or about to shout something, but he only ends up sneezing as he looks out over his mighty kingdom.

Juno nods. "Good, there should be no problems then." She tilts her head when she hears Leonidas' sharp breath and gives him an odd look. "You do not seem well..?"

(Ooo what? :p)

(Well, it's his "human" form. He's an old guy, right? So I thought, I'll give him a cane. But, since old Aitazatls have trouble getting around, I figured that a cane might not be enough... so I imagined Leonidas using a walker. Then, I thought about how in his true form he's got a magic flying throne that carries him everywhere...

... Which led to the end result of me seeing Leonidas as an old guy with a rocket-powered walker who's flying and chasing kids around going, "I'M GONNA GIT YA, YOU LITTLE WHIPPERSNAPPERS")

(Either that, or a wheelchair...)

(Omfg yes! It's like those old people in the scooters at the store!)

(Now I've gotta draw Eater as a polite gentleman and Leo as a crazy old guy X'D )

The old king smiles faintly, and coils into a more comfortable position on his throne as he replies, "Ahh, don't concern yourself with me, I'm perfectly fine. I'm just old... but I have plently of time left in me."

And just to be sure, the Aitazatl's ruler is technically called the Chancellor, right?)

The cold, neutral expression returns to Juno's face. "Very well, if you insist." She looks up towards the dark sky as if she's expecting something. "My brother said he'd be coming soon to retrieve me...you can thank him for my sudden onset of mercy when he arrives."

(Technically yes. But most of her subjects began referring to her as Empress once colonization began)

(Ahh, I see)

"Your brother..." the old king mumbles to himself, rather absentmindedly, and rests his head on the fluff of his tail. Leonidas uses his magic to form yet another orb of light, this time as more of a crystal ball, which he holds close to himself. Generally, he seems to be unintentionally ignoring Juno at the moment, lost in thought.

Juno spares Leonidas a glance but can clearly tell he's no longer paying attention. She returned her gaze to the sky with a huff. In the distance she can just barely see shimmering movement that becomes more and more noticeable as time progresses.

(Speaking of the devil, I found a theme for Themis)

Leonidas is pretty zoned out on his little crystal ball, and doesn't seem to notice the other Aitazatl coming...

The second large Aitazatl was clear to see now, his features almost perfectly matching Juno's except for his dark, glimmering blue feathers. He slowed his pace and came to a stop in front of Leonidas and Juno, a relaxed, lopsided smile stuck on his face.

(Ooh, John Dreamer, I know him, Shadow showed me a song of his that's fitting for our two Dreamer bois. I like this song, too! X3 )

Leonidas probably would've looked up at Themis...

... if he hadn't started dozing off. Luckily, he hadn't fully fallen asleep though, and he quickly snaps awake and clears his throat. "Ahh, you're... the brother. Yes... I have you to thank for... your sister's mercy, was it?"

Themis looks down at the old king and his smile turns into a wide grin. "Indeed, she was contemplating wether or not she could get away with killing you in the name of treason." He laughs and casts his twin an amused look that isn't returned.

(Yeah I've been listening to his music and I really like it! And I'm glad you like the song XP)

(I love all the orchestral tracks, I need to listen to Rise again when I can use my 3DS with headphones, better quality.

Also, I think I'll be heading to bed, I'm feelin kinda like Leo is right now XD )
